Marvel's The Defenders

___I'm not an ardent admirer of DC or Marvel universes, but I watch their movies and TV series from time to time. I was interested in 'The Defenders' cause of Jessica Jones presence, the same series I could not watch. I started 'Jessica Jones' about three times but I did not go further than 3-5 episodes. Is it a fine line between love and hate? Maybe after 'The Defenders' I can begin to watch 'Jessica Jones'.
So, Marvel gathered a team of Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist. Who are all these people? More truly not people but Inhumans.

Review
'The Defenders' consists of 8 episodes and was released on August 18, 2017. It is advisable to watch separate shows about all these heroes (and even read comics) in order to understand the whole universe as well as the motives of the characters. But as I said I watched only 'Luke Cage' series so it didn't stop me from enjoying 'The Defenders'. The plot is very commonplace. Four heroes randomly unite in the fight against a powerful corporation.
The first episode begins with a short overview of the current life situation of each character. And then we notice that each scene of each hero separately was framed in its color scheme: Daredevil - burgundy scarlet, Jessica Jones - blue-violet, Luke Cage - yellow-orange, Iron Fist - green-gray. I was a little crazy about this kind of detail. The interaction between the characters develops with each episode. We see how they do not trust each other, hate each other and defend each other. Such a combination of different characters is amazing! I noted the interaction of Luke Cage and Iron Fist. As far as I understand they spent some time together in comics. The style of each of the Defenders is unique and they skillfully use their strengths. The story of the characters, shown in separate TV series, led them to the key point - the destruction of The Hand whose every 'finger' was shown in each said TV series. And here is the minus, the villain's fading did not allow the characters to truly reveal themselves and raise the plot to a new level. Villains just chat and do not do much. We are not afraid of the destruction of the city and mass deaths because the opacity of the ominous corporation is not felt. The grandiose battle that we waited in the finale did not happen. The strength of 'Marvel's The Defenders' is not in fights but in characters. Their unusual interaction and dialogues forced to smile. Jessica Jones was responsible for the humor part. After watching 'The Defenders', I felt a desire to watch Daredevil because Matt Murdock was the coolest among the four. I will not talk about acting. It is excellent as always. I will note the magnificent Sigourney Weaver. She appeared for the first time in this universe but played as if she was always there.
This is a great story about outsiders who are used to being alone. They never worked in a team. They want an ordinary life, but fate forces them to fight and become heroes. Residents of New York do not find out about their contribution to a peaceful life. They can be alcoholics, sociopaths, introverts, people haters, but in their heart, they are just The Defenders.
