The Great Seduction

The most important factor that causes the American #dream is the inability to have humane living conditions in the places where people live. The inability to meet their housing and food needs leads to the necessity of migration. The American dream or other dreams for other regions are based on the effort to live humanely.

One of #Netflix's new movies, the #Mexican-made The Great Seduction, was remarkable for its success in reflecting the above dramatic story with the comedy genre. I watched the movie yesterday and while hearing the silent cry of a fishing village of 120 people, I witnessed how they seek a solution to despair.

Yes, it is a #movie, but it is a movie full of real #life stories. When the residents of the town, whose only source of livelihood is fishing, have their hopes taken away from them, they are forced to choose between emigrating or finding ways to survive in the land where they were born and raised.

There is no excuse for cheating and deceiving others, but I have often been afraid of the reactions of people who are blocked in every way they try to find a solution. The #story of the movie is not #horror, of course, but we see a lot of the logic that the fight against injustice can be fought in any way.

So much so that there is a #tragic and at the same time funny scene in the movie where a dead person is made to look alive just to get more money and not to be cut off from the state support. This scene is the most enjoyable and one of my favorite moments of the movie. I've said before that I'm afraid of what #human beings can do in desperation, but I can admire the remedies they can come up with in such situations (even if they involve cheating).

Even though he is not one of the main characters of the movie, I admired Guillermo Villegas' acting. He was the one who deceived everyone at the beginning and helped the story to mature, and then he was the one who shaped the movie with his character who became honest with the ebb and flow he experienced.

Pierre Louis, the main #character and his inability to find the honesty he is looking for, adds value to the movie with his #dramatic aspect rather than #comedy. As in many comedy movies, The Great Seduction also has drama scenes that appear after the story matures. Pierre Louis was the main actor of both the movie and these dramatic scenes.

I recommend the movie to everyone who is looking for genres from different countries. There are no disturbing scenes or words in the movie. You can watch it with your #family with peace of mind. I wish you a good watch in advance.
