Greetings movie lovers! This is my first post in this community. I think it would be good to try different communities. Today I will share with you an interesting horror movie.
Horror is not normally my favorite genre, but we watched this movie at the insistence of my friend and honestly, when I watched the trailer, I was intrigued by the plot. Don't get me wrong, but after a while all horror movies seem to be similar to each other.
The movie starts with a girl who likes a boy during her university years. The boy is something like a climate activist and his goal is to protect nature. Suddenly they learn that a huge forest in the rainforest is going to be slaughtered and they decide to go there. Wait a minute what? Suddenly they are on their way to save the rainforest and where are they going? Peru? That was the first thing I didn't understand about the movie. Yes, you may love nature, but don't tell me that there were more than ten young people who were convinced to go to Peru on a trip that was not clearly planned. There is nothing logical about that. A friend comes to you and says, hey man, we're going to go to this country and protect the forests. Don't you ever think, what are we going with? How are we going to protect the forests? What are we going to face there? Where will we stay? Who will protect us? If you set off directly without asking these questions, you deserve bad things to happen to you XD I think twice when I do this even for the city next to me and I always arrange where I will stay in advance.
Anyway, after that they set off and reach Peru. There, in the middle of the rainforest, they dissuade people from slaughtering the forest by showing it to the world via live broadcast. Then the return journey starts and as a classic, the plane they are on crashes and they are left in the middle of the rainforest, in the middle of nowhere. Of course, many people die in the crash. Then a local tribe finds them and as you can guess, the tribe consists of cannibals. I have to congratulate the casting team on this because the people who played the native tribe were really good and at first I thought they were real natives. They start eating our team starting with the fattest one. Yes, that's true and unfortunately there are some very violent scenes. I didn't watch the whole thing because that kind of thing makes me sick. Of course they try to escape, but they give up after trying several times and failing each time.
As a final plan, they shove drugs down the throat of a friend who is psychologically disturbed and commits suicide. Then they hope the natives will eat it and get high. But you'll have to watch the movie to find out if they succeeded or if they were all defeated one by one, because I never tell the end of movies. By the way, I must say that the ending of the movie was successful. We had a twist at the last moment.
I thought the movie was a decent horror movie, but as I said, put yourself in their shoes right now and think, would we go to a country we don't know? If the answer is yes, I recommend you to review your life haha. Maybe you can do it with friends you trust a lot but they are seriously random people! That's why I rate this movie 6 out of 10 because I think there is a lot of bullshit in what the movie is built on. But if you can overlook that, it's a good movie. It's worth repeating that the acting is really good.

Korku normalde benim sevdiğim bir tür değildir ama arkadaşımın ısrarıyla bu filmi izledik ve açıkçası fragmanı izlediğimde konusu ilgimi çekti. Beni yanlış anlamayın ama bir yerden sonra bütün korku filmleri birbirine benziyor gibi görünüyor.
Film bir kızın üniversite yıllarında bir çocuktan hoşlanmasıyla başlıyor. Çocuk iklim aktivisti gibi bir şey ve amacı doğayı korumak. Birden yağmur ormanlarında çok büyük bir ormanın katledileceğini öğreniyorlar ve oraya gitmeye karar veriyorlar. Bir dakika ne? Birden yağmur ormanlarını kurtarmaya yola çıkıyorlar ve nereye gidiyorlar? Peru'ya mı? Filme dair anlamadım ilk şey bu oldu. Evet, doğayı seviyor olabilirsiniz ama kimse bana net bir şekilde planlanmamış bir seyahatle Peru'ya gitmeye ikna olan ondan fazla genç insan olduğunu söylemesin. Bunun mantıklı hiçbir tarafı yok. Bir arkadaşınız size geliyor ve şunu söylüyor, hey dostum şimdi seninle şu ülkeye gidip ormanları koruyacağız. Hiç şunu düşünmez misiniz, neyle gidiyoruz? Nasıl ormanları koruyacağız? Orada neyle karşılaşacağız? Nerede kalacağız? Bizi kim koruyacak? Bu soruları sormadan direkt yola çıkıyorsanız başınıza kötü şeylerin gelmesini hak ediyorsunuzdur XD Bunu yanımdaki şehir için bile yaparken iki defa düşünürüm ve mutlaka önceden kalacağım yeri ayarlarım.
Her neyse, daha sonrasında yola çıkıyorlar ve Peru'ya ulaşıyorlar. Orada yağmur ormanlarının ortasında insanları, canlı yayınla dünyaya göstererek ormanı katletmekten vazgeçiriyorlar. Daha sonra dönüş yolculuğu başlıyor ve bir klasik olarak bindikleri uçak kaza yapıyor ve yağmur ormanlarının, hiçliğin ortasında kalıyorlar. Tabi ki kazada pek çok insan ölüyor. Arkasından oradaki bir yerli kabile onları buluyor ve tahmin edeceğiniz gibi kabile yamyamlardan oluşuyor. Bu konuda cast ekibini tebrik etmeliyim çünkü yerli kabileyi oynayanlar gerçekten çok başarılıydı hatta ilk başta onların gerçek yerliler olduğunu düşündüm. Ekibimizi en şişman olandan başlayarak yemeye başlıyorlar. Evet bu doğru ve bu esnada maalesef çok vahşi sahneler olduğunu söylemeliyim. Tamamını izlemedim çünkü böyle şeyler midemi bulandırıyor. Elbette kaçmaya çalışıyorlar ama bunu birkaç kere deneyip her seferinde başarısız olduktan sonra vazgeçiyorlar.
Son plan olarak psikolojisi bozulup intihar eden bir arkadaşlarının boğazından uyuşturucu sokuyorlar. Sonrasında yerlilerin onu yiyip kafalarının güzel olmasını umut ediyorlar. Ancak bu esnada başarılı oldular mı yoksa hepsi sırayla yenilmeye devam etti mi öğrenmek için filmi izlemeniz gerekecek çünkü asla filmlerin sonunu söylemem. Bu arada filmin sonunun başarılı olduğunu söylemeliyim. Son anda bir ters köşe yaşadık.
Film bana göre fena olmayan bir korku filmiydi ama dediğim gibi şu anda kendinizi onların yerine koyun ve şunu düşünün biz olsak hiç bilmediğimiz bir ülkeye gider miyiz? Cevap evetse hayatınızı bir gözden geçirmenizi tavsiye ederim haha. Belki çok güvendiğiniz arkadaşlarınızla bunu yapabilirsiniz ama onlar ciddi manada rastgele insanlar! Bu filme bu yüzden puanım 10 üzerinden 6 çünkü bana göre filmin üzerine inşa edildiği şeyde çok büyük bir saçmalık var. Ama bunu göz ardı ederseniz iyi bir film olduğunu söyleyebiliriz. Oyunculukların gerçekten iyi olduğunu tekrar etmekte fayda var.
