La construcción de mundo es mucho más interesante que en la entrega previa, el escenario tecnológico y distópico es ampliado de forma exquisita al punto de que se logra dilucidar de mucha mejor forma el brazo represor existente como las capacidades de su ciencia, esto deja una ambientación muy completa que sabe transmitir de forma perfecta lo que significa vivir en un mundo opresivo y con desigualdades sociales abominables. A nivel social existe un claro enfoque, es un elemento que se le da un enfoque más que necesario, mediante este no solo se pone en evidencia la crueldad y frialdad de los líderes sino también la forma en que la población trata de resistir de la forma que puede, esto da ese aire de sufrimiento y opresión perfecto.

Narratively it is curious, the film changes its rhythm at various times, this is done in a subtle way to make its events feel more organic and plausible, although the final twist of this film feels completely out of the sleeve it does not damage the rest of the good work that the film has to its credit, In addition, although it lasts just over 2 hours it is not tedious, it has a good number of various events that make this duration enjoyable.
La trama es interesante y sabe construir algunos de sus acontecimientos de muy buena forma, desde el vamos, se propone el mantener cautivada la atención del espectador, bien sea con escenas de crueldad, momentos emotivos, situaciones de tensión y/o acción. Narrativamente es curiosa, la cinta cambia su ritmo en diversos momentos, esto se hace de forma sutil para que sus acontecimientos se sientan más orgánicos y plausibles, si bien el giro final de este filme se siente completamente sacado de la manga no daña el resto de buen trabajo que tiene la película en su haber, además, pese a que dura poco más de 2 horas la misma no se hace tediosa, tiene una buena cantidad de diversos acontecimientos que hacen que dicha duración sea amena.

The rest of the characters are completely forgettable and inconsequential, this is increased mainly in the villain, it is the second installment and remains a complete unknown, extremely flat and without motivation, the approaches he had did not seek to explore it or anything that resembles him, until times it is only bad because if and that is absolutely bland.
Los personajes son un punto curioso, si hay uno que merece ser destacado es Peeta, desde el vamos se nota su crecimiento si se le compara con lo expuesto en la primera entrega, es un personaje que verdaderamente parece tener un crecimiento tanto en sus acciones como en su pensamiento, además, tanto a él como a Katniss se les da cierto grado de trauma por todo lo que vivieron, esto es un intento por darles trasfondo psicológico que está bastante bien, la relación entre estos es sumamente meh, nada del otro mundo. El resto de personajes son completamente olvidables e intrascendentes, esto se ve acrecentado sobre todo en el villano, es la segunda entrega y sigue siendo un completo desconocido, sumamente plano y sin motivación, los enfoques que tuvo no buscaron explorarlo ni nada que se le asemeje, hasta los momentos solo es malo porque si y eso es absolutamente soso.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire es una secuela más que acorde para todo lo acontecido en la primera entrega, sabe amplificar lo ya visto de muy buena forma al punto de darle una capa más de profundidad, lo que termina generando interés, no obstante, no todo es perfecto, el apartado de los personajes sigue siendo débil y con un trabajo bastante torpe y tosco, se notan mejorías con respecto a la precuela pero se mantiene en el rango de lo decente sin posibilidades de evolucionar. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, algunos apartados verdaderamente tienen una mejoría pero se mantienen errores ya cometidos, pese a todo, sigue siendo una segunda entrega que sabe mantener el interés y generar expectativa.
