   Hola Hivers amantes de las películas y series, en esta oportunidad quiero compartir con ustedes sobre una película que la verdad no me aburre a pesar de que su lanzamiento haya sido hace varios años atrás, creo que es una película que combina muy bien el aspecto deportivo dentro de una comedia, además, agregando emotivas escenas, me parece una gran producción digna de recordar en esta maravillosa comunidad.

   The Longest Yard o El clan de los rompehuesos como se conoce en España, también Golpe Bajo: el juego final como la conocemos en Latinoamérica, es una producción cinematográfica dirigida por el famoso director Peter Segal, reconocido principalmente por sus trabajos en comedia dentro del mundo del cine. Esta divertida película es estrenada en el año 2005, sin embargo, está basada en una antigua producción de 1974 llamada con el mismo nombre en inglés The Longest Yard y llamada El rompehuesos en España.

   Tanto la versión original como la del 2005 nos muestra la historia de un importante y famoso jugador de futbol americano, Paul Crewe, este es sentenciado a prisión varios meses en donde debe sobrevivir y se encontrará en un mundo muy distinto al que está acostumbrado, dentro de una comedia en lo particular creo que el personaje quedó perfecto para Adam Sandler, protagonista de la versión del 2005, un actor reconocido por sus trabajos en distintas producciones de comedia, en lo particular en cuanto a este divertido género Adam Sandler es uno de los mejores en su trabajo.

   Lo Curioso del caso es que en la versión de 1974 el protagonista que le da vida a Paul Crewe, es Burt Reynolds, el mismo actor que en la versión del 2005 realiza el papel del entrenador, donde Adam Sandler interpretaba a Paul. No podemos negar que esta película en el 2005 cuenta con un reparto bastante interesante, con actuaciones verdaderamente profesionales y de mucha calidad, un excelente trabajo en cuanto a la trama y actuación.

   En esta divertida película vemos a un Paul Crewe acostumbrado a la atención de los medios, un jugador profesional de futbol americano que en algún momento cambio el destino de su antiguo equipo, se dejó sobornar para dejar que el equipo contrario ganara en encuentro, algo que parece que le causaba arrepentimiento pero dentro de su carácter egocéntrico no lo demuestra ante los demás, es bastante notorio que la llegada de Crewe a la cárcel hace que los ojos se vuelquen hacia él, sobre todo los ojos del alcalde de la prisión quien había solicitado anteriormente su traslado al recinto que se encuentra a su cargo.

   Uno de los mejores personajes de esta película sin duda es curandero como se conocía en Latinoamérica el cual es interpretado por Chris Rock. Este personaje es de los típicos graciosos con ocurrencias que hacen de la película más divertida sin duda, realmente sin este personaje la película no sería la misma, es uno de los personajes que más vida le da a la producción.

   Resumen:

   Desde la llegada de Crewe a la prisión podemos notar agresión de los guardias hacia este particular prisionero, luego podemos intuir la razón de estas agresiones contra el ex jugador, es para que no participe en algún evento o practica referente al futbol americano debido a que los guardias cuentan con un equipo semi-profesional y no quieren una mancha en su record, sin embargo, el en el trascurso de esta película no terminará así.

   Se planea organizar un evento sin igual, un partido de futbol que será protagonizado por el equipo de los guardias y el equipo de los reclusos, un evento principalmente político y propagandístico por parte del alcalde sabiendo que las miradas iban a estar en el capitán del equipo de los reclusos, específicamente sobre el exjugador Paul Crewe, sin embargo, el alcalde es muy claro al decirle que solo jugaran pero que no ganaran contra los guardias, no quiere una mancha de derrota en el uniforme de sus guardias.

   Búsqueda del Equipo Perfecto (Maquina del Mal)

   A pesar de la negativa de Paul Crewe en crear y sobre todo capitanear un equipo, el alcalde lo disuade con amenazas de extender su estadía en la prisión por lo que Crewe acepta. El proceso de reclutar miembros para el equipo se convierte en una divertida secuencia donde veremos a Crewe interactuar y convencer a peligrosos y sangrientos convictos.

   Una escena bastante divertida es cuando pueden entrar al archivo de los guardias desde una computadora, observando quienes son los convictos más peligrosos y sangrientos recluidos en la prisión en una escala por número de estrellas, cuando curandero quiere saber cuántas estrellas definitivamente se lleva una sorpresa que indudablemente hace que el espectador suelte una carcajada.

   Una de las escenas más memorables en cuanto al reclutamiento es cuando se enfrenta en un uno a uno al líder de la banda de afroamericanos, un uno a uno despiadado en el cual Crewe termina perdiendo injustamente, sin embargo, va logrando el apoyo poco a poco, al principio cuenta con Meggett el cual es un excelente corredor.

   Otra de las escenas bastante divertidas es cuando Crewe se encuentra con Turley un gigante encerrado que hace que el mismo Crewe temblar de miedo y desistir en algunas oportunidades, sin embargo, su odio por su guardia custodio es suficiente para convencerle de entrar en el equipo y poder golpearlo, sería un una gran ayuda en cuanto a músculos.

   Los entrenamientos y el reclutamiento de estos convictos despiadados es una parte bastante entretenida de la película, sin embargo, también hay escenas donde se siente el drama, esto ocurre principalmente en el asesinato de curandero, habiendo activado una trampa que era para Crewe y muriendo en las llamas, una escena algo trágica debido a que finalmente Crewe había encontrado un amigo, un amigo verdadero dentro de la prisión y este lo habían asesinado cruelmente solo para que no se ganara el partido de futbol americano, luego de este suceso Crewe entiende un poco más sobre la vida y el valor que tienen las personas.

   Las escenas del partido son fenomenales, así lo explica el narrador de este acontecimiento dentro de la película, la combinación de futbol americano, alambres de púas y francotiradores resulta ser algo atractivo para los amantes de la adrenalina.

   Es bastante divertido ver el partido, me encanta ver los primeros minutos en los cuales los convictos en lugar de jugar el partido solo se abalanzan contra los guardias a golpearlos, pero Crewe les recuerda que el objetivo es ganar, un hueso roto sanará, pero una derrota aquí les marcará de por vida les argumenta el capitán.

   Una escena también que resulta bastante divertida es cuando el árbitro, el cual claramente está a favor de los guardias sufre algunos “accidentes” por parte del equipo de máquina del mal para lo cual lo disuade a realizar un partido justo, creo que es una de las escenas en donde la risa es obligatoria producida por un humor negro o por el sufrimiento del árbitro.

   Final

   El final del partido puede parecer confuso debido a que a Crewe lo convencen para perder el partido, si este lo gana tendría una condena mucho más larga por acusaciones por la muerte de curandero, al principio Crewe parece convencido de perder pero se convence de lo contrario le pregunta a uno de los convictos si valió la pena pasar un montón de años luego de golpear al alcalde, este inmediatamente responde que vale la pena cada minuto, Crewe se convence que hay cosas más importantes que si mismo, comienza a jugar bien y finalmente ganen el partido.

   Ante una supuesta fuga de parte de Crewe el alcalde le ordena al capitán Knauer disparar, sin embargo, este solo iba por el balón, una escena con mucho suspenso con la posibilidad de un disparo mortal en la espalda del exjugador y capitán del equipo máquina del mal, sin embargo, todo acaba con un gran baño de bebidas propiciado por los convictos al alcalde.

   Esta película es muy divertida, yo he perdido la cuenta de las veces que la he visto, a pesar de que no estoy muy familiarizado con el futbol americano soy amante de los deportes en genera, así que combinar una convictos contra guardias en un partido todo esto desarrollado dentro de una comedia simplemente es una mezcla bastante atractiva para un espectador o en lo particular para mí, es totalmente recomendada seguro se reirán y disfrutarán un montón.
