The Muppets es una película el género comedia musical, en la que vemos el regreso de los Muppets a la pantalla grande luego de varios años.
Vemos a Walter y Gary, dos hermanos, uno es un Muppet y el otro un niño normal, vamos como pasa el tiempo y estos niños van creciendo, pero al diferencia de Gary, Walter no cambia físicamente, Walter conoce el Show de los Muppets y queda encantando, hasta volverse prácticamente el fan numero 1, con el paso de los años este show finalizó pero Walter seguía siendo su mejor fan.
Unos años después, por aniversario Gary y su novia, deciden ser un viaje a Los Ángeles, en donde se encuentra en antiguo estudio de los Muppets, así que a última hora Gary decide invitar a Walter a este viaje, para que pueda cumplir su sueño. En dicho recorrido que hacen al estudio, se enterar que Richman un gran empresario que planea comprar el Estudio, no es más sino para destruirlo, extraer sus riquezas y apropiarse de todo lo que lleva la marca “Muppets”.
Por esta razón, Walter busca hablar con su mayor ídolo que es Kermit la rana para que salven el estudio, así que se dan a la tarea de unir de nuevo todo el elenco, hacer un show en vivo para recaudar la deuda pendiente y devolver al mundo el grandioso show de los Muppets.
Esta película está plagada de canciones, es un musical que en muchas escenas parten la cuarta pared, he notado que esta película no tiene muy buenas críticas, hasta la consideran una “aberración”, pero en lo personal es una de las películas que yo disfruto mucho, este fin de semana la vi junto a mi primo Anthony y ambos estábamos muertos de risa en más de una escena, disfrutando cada canción, recuerdo haberla visto de niña y también me gustaba mucho, así que con los años eso no ha cambiado, me parece una película muy buena, tal vez a los fans más antiguos de los Muppets es que esta película le parece mala.
La relación de Gary y Amy si se hace un poco pesada a ratos, pero no la siento innecesaria, solo que no logro encajar bien con la película, siento que podían dar el mismo mensaje de que la novia era casi un segundo plano en la vida de Gary por que siempre le daba prioridad a su hermano, pero de una manera menos tediosa, pero de resto es una película que seguiré viendo con gusto, a demás de todo.

Gary and Amy's relationship does get a little heavy at times, but I don't feel it is unnecessary, I just don't manage to fit well with the movie, I feel like they could give the same message that the girlfriend was almost a second plane in life of Gary because he always gave priority to his brother, but in a less tedious way, but otherwise it is a film that I will continue to watch with pleasure, apart from everything.
