Un saludo fraterno para todos. Yo soy Lelys y en esta oportunidad los visito para compartir mis impresiones sobre un film que pude ver este fin de semana en un canal de televisión de señal abierta de mi país.
Generalmente los domingos son los días que más me ocupo de las manualidades, me gusta adelantar proyectos para no estar de afán durante la semana, sin embargo este que pasó fue para estar en cama mejorando de un resfriado que agarré. En mis horas de descanso aproveché de ver programas de televisión y algunas películas. Les cuento que en los dos canales que puedo ver solo mencionan el nombre de las películas apenas comienzan, si no estamos frente a la pantalla en ese justo momento no nos enteramos del nombre de la película ni de otros detalles.
Por esta razón me ví en la necesidad de buscar en Google estos datos que me perdí.
Soy del tipo de espectador que se enamora de las películas si conoce a los actores. Les confieso que cuando ví a Robert Downey aparecer en la pantalla de plano pensé que no la vería. Le pegué un grito a mi hijo para preguntarle si era el que protagonizó Inteligencia artificial, él se asomó y me dijo: "mamá él es Iron man". Me causó mucha gracia porque yo no grabo en mi mente todos los rostros y mucho menos los nombres de las películas, actores ni personajes. ¡Lamentablemente!
De todos modos en el otro canal no había nada atractivo para mí y me quedé sintonizada en esta película. Con un ojo en la pantalla del televisor y otro en el teléfono. Hasta que la película me atrapó.

Ver esta película me ha permitido comprender y conocer aspectos de la vida que muchas veces ignoramos. Vi una parte del mundo al que pocas veces tenemos acceso y si lo tuviéramos no nos detendríamos a mirarlo. He aquí la gran magia del cine y la televisión. Representar a estos personajes y mostrarnos mediante un film realidades que nos negamos aceptar. Te invito a disfrutar de una excelente película dirigida por Joe Wright, escrita por Susannah Grant. Magistralmente protagonizada por Jamie Foxx, acompañado por Robert Downey, Lisa Gay Hamilton, Lorraine Toussaint, entre otros.
EL SOLISTA. Es una película algo confusa, a mí parecer hay varios aspectos que el escritor nos oculta, al menos en la versión que pude ver dejaron a la imaginación del público algunos episodios.
Nathaniel creció siendo un niño solitario, vivía todo el tiempo encerrado como en un sótano. Su mamá atendía un local que según ví ofrecía un tipo de servicio para las mujeres. En ocasiones visitaba a su hijo, le dedicaba palabras de amor, aliento y motivación. Le decía entre otras cosas que sería un gran músico. ¡Así es! Nathaniel ama la música. No tenía contacto con el mundo exterior, todo su tiempo lo dedicaba a tocar un chelo.
Por razones desconocidas se aleja de su hogar ya siendo adulto. Luego de reprocharle algo a su madre se despide y se va a vivir en la calle convirtiéndose en un indigente.
Por otra parte, en un famoso diario de la ciudad está el señor Steve López, intentando permanecer en un periódico que amenaza con despedir gran parte de su personal. Él en su afán por quedarse encuentra en la historia de Nathaniel la oportunidad perfecta para ello. El destino los encuentra y es allí donde comienza esta gran historia.
Me gustaría que la veas y la disfrutes tanto como yo. Es una historia triste y conmovedora. El señor López intenta sacar de la indigencia a Nathaniel y no lo logra. Sin embargo consigue conmover a personas mediante sus escritos en el periódico. Hace todo lo posible porque Nathaniel consiga cumplir su sueño de tocar sus instrumentos y ser un músico de verdad.
Nathaniel en cambio, prefiere continuar viviendo en la calle, agradecido por los regalos recibidos y por la increíble amistad que ha nacido entre ellos.
Contradictoriamente a lo que fue su infancia, Nathaniel se niega a estar en lugares cerrados, le da miedo y sufre ataques esquizofrénicos. A petición del señor López se traslada a un centro o refugio y allí tiene la dicha de ser visitado por su hermana.
Mucho se hace por él, pero todo es en vano. Sus momentos de "lucidez" solo son posibles cuando está sumergido y concentrado en los sonidos melodiosos de su chelo o violín de dos cuerdas. Para Nathaniel es el mundo perfecto. Un mundo del que no quiere salir y dónde aprendió a ser "feliz" o al menos a sobrevivir.
También pude observar en varios episodios de la película que la mayoría de estas personas denominados "sin techos" son afroamericanos, concentrados es lugares específicos de la ciudad. Es una especie de refugio en el que al menos se les atiende médicamente y se les proporcionan algunos medicamentos.
Para Nathaniel esta ayuda no fue posible ya que no se atendió en su debido momento por médicos especialistas. A pesar de presentar síntomas de esquizofrenia no pudo ser medicado.
En esta película no encontrarás un final feliz como espectador, pero para el protagonista quizá lo sea. Nathaniel seguirá admirando a Beethoven y continuará sintiendo la música con gran pasión. Desde los espacios abiertos y bulliciosos, él sólo escuchará el sonido de cada uno de sus instrumentos para no estar atormentado.

I tell you that in the two channels I can watch they only mention the name of the movies as soon as they start, if we are not in front of the screen at that moment we do not know the name of the movie or other details.
For this reason I felt the need to search in Google for this information that I missed.
I'm the kind of viewer who falls in love with movies if I know the actors. I confess that when I saw Robert Downey appear on the screen I thought I would never see it. I yelled at my son to ask him if he was the one who starred in Artificial Intelligence, he peeked out and said, "Mom, he's Iron Man". I was very amused because I don't remember in my mind all the faces, much less the names of the movies, actors or characters. Unfortunately!

I would like you to watch it and enjoy it as much as I did. It is a sad and touching story. Mr. Lopez tries to get Nathaniel out of destitution and does not succeed. However, he manages to touch people through his writings in the newspaper. He does everything he can to help Nathaniel fulfill his dream of playing his instruments and becoming a real musician.
Nathaniel, on the other hand, prefers to continue living on the street, grateful for the gifts he has received and for the incredible friendship that has grown between them.
Contradictorily to his childhood, Nathaniel refuses to be indoors, he is afraid and suffers from schizophrenic attacks. At the request of Mr. Lopez, he moves to a center or shelter and there he has the joy of being visited by his sister.

For Nathaniel, this help was not possible because he was not seen by medical specialists at the right time. Despite presenting symptoms of schizophrenia he could not be medicated.
In this film you will not find a happy ending as a viewer, but for the protagonist it might be. Nathaniel will continue to admire Beethoven and will continue to feel music with great passion. From the open, bustling spaces, he will only listen to the sound of each of his instruments so as not to be tormented.
