Greetings #MoviesAndTVShows moviegoers. I'm here again to wish you a happy start to the week and a happy start to the month. A few days ago I watched a marathon of the Twilight saga (I was a fan at the time) but after watching them again, I noticed several discrepancies, especially in the last one: Breaking Dawn-Part 2.
**Origin**I admit that I am a fan of this saga, but not so much of the movies but rather of the books and it was by re-watching the whole saga that I noticed a few discrepancies and gaps, which unfortunately can not only be noticed in the films but also in the books.
To be honest, I wouldn't say I like the movies very much. If I had to choose which one I like the most, it would be the last one, specifically because of a surprise scene at the end: the Confrontation of good vs. bad vampires.
**Origin**One of the first things I have to criticize here and that I still don't like even a little bit, are the special effects, especially the ones used on the computer with baby Renesmee. By that time the technology was advanced enough to do something much better without showing that ugly montage they did to a doll. I mean, HORRIBLE. It was scary to watch.
The second thing I have to criticize is mostly the cast selected, but in this case, it's the main characters. They could have chosen someone to make a Bella more dramatic or with more emotion than Kristen Stewart, who in absolutely every movie never stopped making the same gesture with her lips and eyes. As for Robert Pattinson, I don't know, I was puzzled to see a "rebellious" attitude in the first installment and from the second he was all Don Juan. Therein lies the first noted discrepancy, apart from the fact that his performance was not memorable or outstanding. For me, he lacked passion, and commitment, not just posing and looking pretty.
**Origin**I'm shocked by that kind of acting from good-looking actors. That of not acting, just posing and looking pretty. Why don't they do like Brad Pitt or Tom Cruise, in their youth and early days they had a lot of potential, even Leonardo DiCaprio knew how to do his thing. But well, nothing can be done anymore. The movies are done, the saga finished with a very bad film adaptation from all the directors, but especially the last one. What he did with Renesmee sucked. I can't get over it.
On this occasion, I noticed the bad work used for the scenery backgrounds, it was obvious that it was a montage like they used to do decades ago. But of course, between all the excitement of seeing our vampire characters on the big screen, one gets carried away and lets things and scenes pass by. But I tell you, if you marathon all these movies you will notice some very bad scenes.
**Origin**Especially in the snow and forest scenes. Now as for the discrepancies I noticed, well some were quite profound and most are related to Alice and her Visions of the Future. While the author doesn't delve much into the superpowers of her vampires in her books, with Alice she had several holes that left a lot to be desired.
For example, in the movie New Moon, in the scene of Bella's birthday and the gathering that Alice hosted at the Cullen house for her, how did that woman not see that she would cut her finger off by uncovering one of her presents? I mean, she was able to see Renesmee's prolonged future in the last movie, she was able to see who was going to die in the fight between different gangs of vampires, and what the wedding would be like and so many things. But he didn't get to see Bella cut her finger and then her arm when she fell.
**Origin**Shame on You Alice, you can't do that. I never understood Jasper. He always looked like he was in pain or constipated. His superpower was to control the emotions of those around him. If he could do it I never noticed it he could have quietly used it by running around a bit when he noticed the Alaskan sisters getting out of control when the Vulturis did what they did to one of them.
I also didn't quite understand those "laws" that the Vulturis had either, I mean, that wasn't laws, that was pure anarchy. And how is it that such powerful vampires are so respected just because they are the oldest or the first ones created and yet they don't have superpowers, only one of them and it's pretty dumb since he has to be around and hold someone's hand to use it? I mean Stephenie Meyer you could have come up with something better for the villains in the saga.
**Origin**I mean, let's go with another example. Jane* and Alec are supposed to be twin brothers (and they don't look not one bit alike to each other, another discrepancy), these had the following as superpowers, one blows smoke through his fingers which deprives whoever covers it of all senses (are you serious, you couldn't come up with anything better Stephenie Meyer?) and as for Dakota her power was to cause pain just by saying the word pain or thinking it!, (again, are you serious?).
Another discrepancy you notice is at the end of the last movie, when Bella and Edward are together in that flower-filled clearing in the sunlight. Vampires like them are supposed to sparkle like diamonds but guess what, in that scene, they didn't sparkle one bit. So I stand by my opinion. ***All the directors of these 5 movies did a lousy job of bringing the book adaptation to the big screen.
**Hardwicke**, **Weitz**, **Slade** & **Condon**Of all the directors, the one I overlook is Weitz, and that's because he's made some very good movies before, and well, it's my second favorite of the whole Twilight Saga. I think the saga itself, by way of conclusion is a pretty simple story, which could have been summed up by turning Bella from the first book. Because between the second movie and the fourth one is to see the dilemma of whether to turn Bella or not, even though Alice had already seen it coming, I mean, it would be a sure thing, so I don't understand why so much nitpicking to get to the last extremist moment of having to turn Bella.
Another discrepancy and quite illogical situation is why vampire women in this story can not have children, that is, you get pregnant being a human being of a vampire (because men are fertile), but if you are a woman and you become fixing your whole body internally and externally (making you even super powerful) but they do not let you have children. I mean, there are no fibroids, no cervical cancer, no fibroids, no belly pains, nothing, everything inside the female organs of a vampire woman would work perfectly, so why not give them the option to have children?
**Origin**No, it's better to make her suffer as a human and make her pregnant by a supernatural being who is fertile because the author of the saga didn't have much imagination to develop the story well. Shame on You Stephenie Meyer. So no, I was quite disappointed after watching every love story for five poorly made movies, with very bad special effects and so many holes that don't make sense within the story not only in the films but also in the books.
It's a real shame. I don't recommend it unless you are a fan and want to remember good times being in the cinema when you got that surprise impression from the fight between vampires. That was the most exciting thing in the whole story itself and the saddest thing is that that part doesn't come out in the books. Hence the big surprise. From my side, I don't recommend watching it and my final score for the whole saga is 🌟🌟🌟 out of 5 Little Golden Stars.

Saludos cinéfilos de #MoviesAndTVShows. Por aquí estoy nuevamente para desearles primero que tengan un feliz inicio de semana y a su vez un feliz inicio de mes. Hace unos días miré un maratón de la saga Crepúsculo (fui fan en su momento) pero luego de verlas nuevamente, noté varias discrepancias, sobre todo en la última: Amanecer-Parte 2.
**Origen**Yo reconozco que soy fan de esta saga, pero no tanto de las películas sino más bien de los libros y fue viendo nuevamente toda la saga que noté unas cuantas discrepancias y huecos, que lastimosamente no sólo se pueden notar en los films sino también en los libros.
Para ser honesta, las películas no me gustan mucho. Y si me ponen a elegir cuál de todas me gusta más, pues sería la última y específicamente por una escena sorpresa que contiene al final que es la Confrontación de vampiros buenos vs los malos.
**Origen**Una de las primeras cosas que debo criticar aquí y que sigue sin gustarme ni siquiera un poquito, son los efectos especiales, pero sobre todo los utilizados en computadora con la bebé Renesmee. Ya para aquel entonces la tecnología estaba lo suficientemente avanzada para hacer algo mucho mejor sin que se notara ese montaje feísimo que le hicieron a un muñeco. O sea, HORRIBLE. A mí me daba miedo verlo.
Lo segundo que debo criticar es más que todo el elenco seleccionado, pero en este caso es de los protagonistas. Pudieron elegir a alguien que hiciera una Bella más dramática o con más emoción que a Kristen Stewart, quien en absolutamente todas las películas no dejó de hacer el mismo gesto con los labios y los ojos. En cuanto a Robert Pattinson, no sé, me desconcertó ver una actitud "rebelde" en la primera entrega y a partir de la segunda fue todo un Don Juan. Allí está la primera discrepancia notada. Aparte que su actuación no fue memorable ni destacada. Para mí le faltó pasión, compromiso, no sólo posar y verse bonito.
**Origen**Me choca ese tipo de actuaciones por parte de actores bien parecidos. Eso de no actuar, sólo posar y verse bonito. Por qué no hacen como Brad Pitt o Tom Cruise, en sus tiempos de juventud y sus inicios tenían mucho potencial, incluso Leonardo DiCaprio sabía hacer lo suyo. Pero bueno, ya nada se puede hacer. Las películas están hechas, la saga terminada con una muy mala adaptación cinematográfica de parte de todos los directores, pero sobre todo del último. Un ASCO lo que hizo con Renesmee. No lo supero.
En esta ocasión noté el mal trabajo utilizado para los fondos de escenografía, se notaba a leguas que era montaje, de esos como se hacían décadas atrás. Pero claro es que entre tanta emoción de ver a nuestros personajes vampíricos en pantalla grande uno se deja llevar y deja pasar cosas y escenas por alto. Pero te digo, si te echas un maratón de todas estas películas notarás escenas muy mal hechas.
**Origen**Sobre todo en las escenas de la nieve y el bosque. Ahora en cuanto a las discrepancias que noté, pues hay unas que fueron bastante profundas y la mayoría están relacionadas con Alice y sus Visiones del Futuro. Si bien la autora no profundiza mucho los superpoderes de sus vampiros en sus libros, con Alice tuvo varios huecos que dejan mucho que desear.
Por ejemplo, en la película Luna Nueva, en la escena del cumpleaños de Bella y la reunión que organizó Alice en la casa de los Cullen para ella, ¿cómo es que esa mujer no vio que se cortaría el dedo destapando uno de sus regalos? Es decir, fue capaz de ver el futuro prolongado de Renesmee en la última película, fue capaz de ver quiénes iban a morir en la pelea entre bandas diferentes de vampiros, y cómo sería la boda y tantas cosas. Pero no logró ver a Bella cortarse el dedo y luego el brazo al caerse.
**Origen**Shame on You Alice, así no se puede. A Jasper nunca lo entendí. Siempre tenía cara como de estar sufriendo o estar estreñido. Su superpoder era el de controlar las emociones de los que estaban a su alrededor. Si podía hacerlo nunca lo noté, de hecho, pudo haberlo usado tranquilamente corriendo un poco cuando notó a las hermanas de Alaska descontrolarse cuando los Vulturis hicieron lo que hicieron con una de ellas.
Tampoco entendí bien esas "leyes" que tenían los Vulturis, es decir, eso no eran leyes, era anarquía pura. Y ¿cómo es que vampiros tan poderosos sean tan respetados sólo porque son los más viejos o los primeros creados y aun así no tienen superpoderes? sólo uno de ellos y es bastante chimbo ya que debe estar cerca y tomarle la mano a alguien para que lo use. O sea Stephenie Meyer pudiste inventar algo mejor para los villanos de la saga.
**Origen**Es decir, vamos con otro ejemplo. Se supone que Jane y Alec son hermanos gemelos (y no se parecen absolutamente ni un poquito entre ellos, otra discrepancia), estos tenían de superpoderes lo siguiente, uno echa humo por los dedos que priva de todos los sentidos a quien lo cubra (¿es en serio?, ¿no se te pudo ocurrir algo mejor Stephenie Meyer?) y en cuanto a Dakota su poder era causar dolor sólo con decir la palabra dolor o pensarla!, (de nuevo, ¿es en serio?).
Otra discrepancia que se nota es al final de la última película, cuando Bella y Edward están juntos en ese claro lleno de flores bajo la luz del sol. Se supone que los vampiros como ellos brillan tipo diamantes, pero ¿adivinen qué? en esa escena no brillaron ni un poquito. Así que mantengo mi opinión. Todos los directores de estas 5 películas hicieron un pésimo trabajo al traer la adaptación del libro a la gran pantalla.
**Hardwicke**, **Weitz**, **Slade** & **Condon**De todos los directores, a quien se lo dejo pasar por alto es a Weitz, y es porque ha hecho muy buenas películas anteriormente y bueno, es mi segunda favorita de toda la saga de crepúsculo. Yo pienso que la saga en sí, a manera de conclusión es una historia bastante simple, que se pudo haber resumido convirtiendo a Bella desde el primer libro. Porque entre la segunda película y la cuarta es ver la disyuntiva si convertir a Bella o no, aun cuando Alice ya lo había visto venir, es decir, sería algo seguro, así que no entiendo por qué tanto meollo para llegar al último momento extremista de tener que convertir a Bella.
Otra discrepancia y situación bastante ilógica es ¿por qué las mujeres vampiros en esta historia no pueden tener hijos?, es decir, te embarazas siendo humana de un vampiro (porque los hombres si son fértiles), pero si eres mujer y te conviertes arreglándose todo tu cuerpo a nivel interno y externo (haciéndote hasta superpoderosa) pero no te dejan tener hijos. Es decir, allí no existen miomas, ni cáncer de cuello uterino, ni fibromas ni dolores de vientre, nada, todo dentro de los órganos femeninos de una mujer vampiro funcionarían perfectamente, así que ¿por qué no darles la opción de tener hijos?
**Origen**No, es mejor hacerla sufrir como humana y hacer que se embarace de un ser sobrenatural que si es fértil porque la autora de la saga no tuvo mucha imaginación para desarrollar bien la historia. Shame on You Stephenie Meyer. Así que no, me decepcioné bastante luego de ver toda historia de amor durante cinco películas mal hechas, con efectos especiales muy malos y tantos huecos que no tienen sentido dentro de la historia no sólo de los films sino también en los libros.
Es una verdadera lástima. Actualmente no la recomiendo, a menos que seas realmente fan y quieras recordar buenos tiempos estando en el cine cuando te llevaste aquella impresión sorpresa por la pelea entre vampiros. Eso fue lo más emocionante en toda la historia en sí y lo más triste es que esa parte no sale en los libros. De allí la gran sorpresa. De mi parte no la recomiendo ver y mi puntuación final para toda la saga es 🌟🌟🌟 de 5 Estrellitas Doradas.
