Es un filme de comedia, la historia se centra en un padre de clase media el cual se encuentra decido a pagar la boda de su hija, la cosa es que los gastos son bastante elevados y tiene que recortar todo el presupuesto posible, por otro lado, el padre del novio insiste en ayudarlo con los gastos pero su orgullo le impide aceptar su ayuda, no obstante, una serie de desafortunados incidentes consecutivos harán que ambas familias deban unirse para poder sacar a flote la boda a lo largo de una semana que parece eterna.

The soundtrack is quite Meh, it does not really play an important role within the tape, it is a comedy so there are not many ways in which it can take advantage of musical accompaniment.

The plot is completely absurd and stupid, one of the main elements that has almost permanent presence are misfortunes, constantly everything comes out in the worst way and this is used as a very good way comic hook to the point that laughter is guaranteed. There is not much to highlight from its narrative, the tape focuses on the jokes and silly situations to consolidate as a movie style about substance, something that looks great and that it is Sandler's comfort zone, in turn, it has the typical messages about the importance of the family, accepting that the children grow up and others, all quite cliché and repetitive but that does not mean that it is still very entertaining and the fact that it is quite entertaining and the fact that it is quite entertaining.
La trama es completamente absurda y estúpida, uno de los principales elementos que tiene presencia casi permanente son las desgracias, de forma constante todo sale de la peor forma y esto se utiliza como gancho cómico de muy buena forma al punto de que la risa está garantizada. No hay mucho que destacar de su narrativa, la cinta se centra en los chistes y situaciones tontas para consolidarse como una película estilo sobre sustancia, algo que le queda muy bien y que es la zona de confort de Sandler, a su vez, tiene los típicos mensajes sobre la importancia de la familia, el aceptar que los hijos crecen y demás, todo bastante cliché y repetitivo pero eso no quita que sigue siendo muy entretenida y el hecho de que es bastante digerible.

Nothing to highlight here, their characters are fun and pleasant as far as possible, they do not stand out for nothing beyond making jokes or being the joke in themselves, the fair and necessary for the type of film it is.
Nada que destacar aquí, sus personajes son divertidos y agradables en la medida de lo posible, no destacan por nada más allá que por el hecho de hacer chistes o ser el chiste en sí mismos, lo justo y necesario para el tipo de película que es.
The Week of is exactly what promises, a stupid film with stupid and funny situations, although its reflections are quite basic and simple is not the main interest of the tape to be deep and reflective, it could be said that the latter is a plus that it brings. It is for all the above that it deserves 3.5 stars of 7, the humor so absurd that it handles is very fun and if that type of comedy is in their style I can guarantee that they will enjoy it very much.
The Week Of es exactamente lo que promete, un filme estúpido con situaciones estúpidas y divertidas, si bien sus reflexiones son bastante básicas y simples no es el principal interés de la cinta ser profunda y reflexiva, se podría decir que esto último es un plus que trae. Es por todo lo anterior que merece 3.5 estrellas de 7, es muy divertido el humor tan absurdo que maneja y si ese tipo de comedia es de su estilo les puedo garantizar que la disfrutaran muchísimo.
