  1. Think Like A Man@cinetv543d

Hello and welcome everyone to Cine TV community. This is our first post for 2025, and I’m excited about all the amazing things happening to every one of us this year. I’m rooting deeply for the year, so I thought I would start with a film I quite enjoy. It’s a film everyone may actually enjoy but I think you may resonate with it more as a member of the Black community. Based on the book, "Act Like A Lady Think Like A Man," by Steve Harvey, here is:

    Think Like A Man (2012)

Directed by Tim Story, the film follows four different storylines. The independent woman who is more or less her own man (Taraji P. Henson) and the dreamer boy (Michael Ealy); The single mom (Regina Hall) and the mama’s boy (Michael Hanover); The lady who wants the ring (Gabrielle Union) and the non-committed man (Jerry Ferrara) and finally, The faithful 90-day rule girl (Meagan Good) and the chronic player (Romany Malco). There is also the happy-go-lucky mutual friend who pretty much thinks he knows everything as far as relationships are concerned (Kevin Hart) but doesn’t exactly have his love life in order as well.

The connector in this is the fact that all four women have read the book, “Act Like a Lady, Think Like A Man,” by Steve Harvey, and they are set to follow its precepts to the tee. The problem arises when the men discover the book they’ve all been reading, and on a massive stroke of “intelligence” decide to play the player. What could possibly go wrong?

Why this film is one of my favourite films, as you may have guessed is because of the humour. This film was laced and laced with lots of humour that had me cackling. It’s been a while since I saw it but I doubt I’d laugh any less. It’s the brainless type of humour that came so easily with the year that it was created. People were far more carefree. These days, it’s more difficult to laugh about simple humour like this, probably because of how serious life seems to be but if you let loose and take most of the corny jokes at face value, you would find Think Like A Man very enjoyable.

When I was a lot less cynical, the whole premise that this film was based on was quite okay by me. Anyone who reads the book now, talk less of the film may actually find it sexist from the title down to the epilogue, but again, it is an enjoyable film if you don’t nitpick at everything you see.

I’m not sure which I preferred more between the first part and its sequel which is Think Like A Man Too, which was produced just two years after the first release. The latter certainly had more of a plot than the former, and the humour still felt unforced since everyone seemed to have chemistry with each other. The highlight of the second part as was the first was Kevin Hart who must have been in his element back then. All together a very enjoyable film that my sisters and I see once in a while when we just need a hearty, unburdened laugh.

Starting this year off with a light one and hoping that the rest of the year is reasonably light and filled with light-hearted laughter and happiness for us all. Happy New Year!

  2. Think Like a Man || Competition and the struggle for superiority in male-female relationships@cute-cactus1327d

The best way to escape from the pressures of real life and the problems of dual human relationships is to watch a romantic comedy movie. At least this is true for me.

Of course, instead of talking about the problems, I prefer to talk about the movie I watched. The movie Think Like a Man, which was released in 2012, was a good opportunity that came at just such a time.

The movie focuses on male-female relationships instead of human relationships and shows what women want from the women's point of view and what they want from the men's point of view. The story blends to create a romantic and entertaining comedy movie.

The movie has a thought-provoking effect on men about what women want and on women about what men want.

It is possible to disagree and criticize some of the discourses while agreeing and supporting others, but in general, they analyzed both women and men well and created entertaining moments.

One of my favorite scenes; It was the image of the man who stepped on the gas of his car and drove away, saying "ok" to the woman who showed the attitude of not going on a date with men who wouldn't open the car door on the first date, and the effect after it.

I think people, men and women, should be clear about what they want and leave no question marks afterwards. There are couples in the world who can come together according to everyone's wishes. When you are honest and clear about what you want, everyone will get what they want.

It was interesting that the main source of the intriguing story in the movie was a book written by a man for women. The fact that all the women in the movie referenced this book seemed to be a real admission of their difficulty in figuring out men.

On the men's side, this book was a betrayal of one of them, because almost all the plans had been deciphered and were in the hands of the other side.

Maybe it was one of the movies that explained the male-female rivalry that has been around since Adam and Eve. The fact that they focused more on male-female relationships was another plus of the movie for me and the most delicious part of the movie was that they turned it into a romantic comedy.

I think the screenplay and the director stood out more than the actors. The screenplay in particular was excellent. The subtle humor sprinkled in it was the detail that took the perfection to the next level.

Watching the movie, which started negatively, caused positive reflections on me. So I think you should definitely watch the movie. Instead of turning it into a war or hatred based on hatred, it was ingenious to turn it into new lovers who know what they want in the field of love and to present the male-female conflict in the presence of relationships that emphasize romance.

I wish everyone who will watch it a good time!
