Estuvo protagonizada por Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins.

    Sinopsis:

    fuente/www.bbc.com

Hello and good afternoon my loves 💞 today we are going to talk about an epic film that set a standard in the comics space and Marvell in particular. It is titled Thor love and thunder.

Thor is a 2011 American superhero film based on the Marvel Comics character of the same name, produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Paramount Pictures. This being the fourth installment of the Marvel cinematic universe.

The film was directed by Kenneth Branagh, with a script by Ashley Edward Miller, Zack Stentz and Don Payne.

Starred Chris Hemsworth, Tom Hiddleston, Natalie Portman, Stellan Skarsgård, Idris Elba, Jaimie Alexander, Colm Feore, Rene Russo, Anthony Hopkins.

    Synopsis:

The movie Thor the God of Thunder is an epic and visually impressive production that tells the story of the hero Thor, played by Chris Hemsworth, who gives a great performance. The film has a solid plot and great action, as well as a good balance of humor and drama. Natalie Portman's character is also a great addition to the team. Overall, Thor the God of Thunder is an exciting and recommended film for fans of comics and Marvel culture.

    soundtrack:

    fuente/en.m.wikipedia.org

The soundtrack was quite exciting and coupled with rock groups and renowned artists such as Guns N' Roses who gave life to the track of the final scene and in turn to the original trailer. with his "bombastic, loud and colorful palette". "Sweet Child o' Mine" by Guns N' Roses appears in the film, helping to "reflect the kind of crazy life and adventure we're visually presenting to viewers."

    criticism of the actors' work:

    fuente/www.bbc.com

I loved Chris Hemsworth's performance since he perfectly showed how to combine the two facets of him, that of a tough boy and that of a loving and gentle father, which in the end gave the magic touch to the project in question.

    Recommendations:

Even though I am not a fan of this type of genre, the film managed to captivate my attention thanks to its very complex script, wonderful and impressive filming scenarios and if we add to that a palette of noisy and rock music, what more could you ask for?

So friends, I recommend this film project that will take you back to your childhood but with current technologies, something worthy of an afternoon at the movies accompanied by some popcorn🍿🧉.

  2. [ENG] Thor: A life marked by suffering // Thor: Una vida marcada por el sufrimiento [ESP]@cjlugo1336d

The Marvel universe has many important characters, some of them like Ironman and Captain America are no longer in force today, but of the first ones that appeared with them still remains Thor, which is played masterfully by Chris Hemsworth. Thor is known as the god of thunder, and since his beginnings he has enjoyed being one of the characters with the most charisma and acceptance within this cinematic world. He is particularly one of my favorites, and he is also one of the most developed characters in the franchise. In terms of power, he is one of the strongest, surpassed only by Captain Marvel among the main characters, of the rest not even the Hulk himself has been able to beat him. Thor's ability lies in his willingness to wield thunder, having obtained this power by proving himself worthy, he is also one of the sons of Odin, king of Asgard.

Thor's initial character is that of a proud young man who does not like to follow rules, he disobeys his father a lot trying to prove his worth, but in turn gets into trouble with other kingdoms because of this. Sometimes the movies have shown us scenes of his childhood where together with Loki he does things he should not do, but it is interesting how a place is given to the immaturity of this character, the idea of the producers in a way is to humanize them as much as possible, remember that Thor is presented as the "god" of thunder, a being superior to people, but not perfect.

As the character progresses we see him interacting with many worlds, and it is there where he arrives on earth, a place where he tries to live as a human but ultimately fails to do so, however he falls in love with a human named Jodie Foster, who has much relevance in his life, but can not maintain their love relationship because of who he is, so he decides to separate from her as a way to take care of her and keep her away from danger, something very similar to what Ethan Hunt does in the Mission Impossible saga.

**The reality of pain / La realidad del dolor**

    loki-muerte-tom-hiddleston-thor-ragnarok-cover2.jpg Source

Despite being one of the strongest superheroes of all, his development has had much to do with suffering, it seems that happiness wants nothing to do with him, and it is as if he lived a kind of karma, but this is actually not so, Thor's story shows us that suffering can be part of anyone's life, no matter what status you have, you can live a lifetime of pain, but in turn, that pain can help in the growth and strengthening of character.

Thor loses his father at a very young age so to speak, and after that he must deal with his evil sister, who happens to be more powerful than him, to top it off he can't get rid of her without destroying his country Asgard, and in the middle of his space pilgrimage he encounters the most powerful enemy of all. That unfortunate but necessary encounter in the plot ends with the death of his brother Loki and that of his best friend Heimdall, two losses that turn out to be quite significant.

From there on, the story shows us a bitter Thor, one who has lost everything he loves, but who is now bent on revenge and will not rest until he kills Thanos, the murderer of his loved ones. Once he does, his anger subsides, but now he is left with the feeling that he has lost everything and the story shows us a Thor who is intoxicated and out of shape and cares for absolutely nothing. Many may have criticized the appearance in "Avengers: Endgame" but it was really a work of art to have presented it that way, it is faithful to the development that has been given to the character.

After the second battle against Thanos, we have the most current version of Thor, the one we saw in the most recent film (Love and Thunder), here the god of thunder seems to have left aside his pain as he continues to live and fight wars in the company of the guardians of the galaxy, but it is shown without a definite purpose, one that apparently gets at the end of the film, but the most striking thing is that in this installment the pain is also present, and does so in a rather painful way. It turns out that his great love Jodie Foster suffers from an incurable cancer, but thanks to the Mjolnir (Thor's old hammer) she manages to revitalize herself at times, and in this quite unexpected way Thor and she are reunited, now she is a heroine who fights with him. What an interesting twist! I must confess that I quite liked this temporary incursion, at times I thought that Thor could be happy, but once we get the denouement (Jodie's death) I realized that it would not be so, everything returned to normal, and Thor continues to face suffering.

    **Final thoughts / Pensamientos finales**

Although the quality of the deliveries is not the same compared to the previous ones in its plot thread, Thor has become an emblematic character, one of the most developed in the Marvel universe, but without wanting to be a bird of ill fortune, I see his end soon, maybe not in the next movie where he will face Ares, but if you can glimpse, it is possible that he dies protecting the little girl who now has in his care, and finish resting in Valhalla, the place where the Asgardians go when they die. If that happens I would not have any reproach to the production, I just hope they give him a dignified end as they did with Tony Stark and Steve Rogers previously. Finally and to conclude, the Thor movies have gone from minor to major, I still think that the best of all is "Ragnarok", although the battle against the butcher of gods in the movie "Love and Thunder" was spectacular, and the effects presented in the kingdom of the shadows were excellent without a doubt; I hope they continue like this, but now we just have to see how the next installments will develop.

    The Characters I Liked:

    Thor:

We will meet Thor, the god of thunder and son of the father of all Odin, and is one of those who are destined to be the king of Asgard in which the current king is the father of all.

Being Odin's son and being the favorite to be the king, he is reckless and inexperienced, as he does not like to listen to his father's advice and wants to always do what he thinks is right, coming to this to almost cause a complete war between two worlds and almost the death of his loved ones.

He is one of the best gods that exist in Asgard, always bringing success in his battles, along with his squadron have brought countless victories to the kingdom, but never face defeat one of them would change his life completely.

    Fuente / Source

    Odin:

    Odin:

We know the god of gods, the father of all, this is Odin who is king of Asgard, a city full of gods and the best warriors seen so far along with countless mysteries.

Odin is a god and king full of wisdom and experience in life, but to reach, as having an advanced age, he is already tired of exercising his position, in which he sees in his two sons a possible candidate to replace him, as he has raised them both with the thoughts of a good king, but what he does not know is that all his plans will be ruined by a certain very naughty little person.

    Fuente / Source

    Loki:

    Loki:

We know Loki god of lies and deception, one of the best magicians of all Asgard, Thor's brother and the second candidate to be king, but what he does not know is that he would be destined for something else in life.

Being Thor's brother, he has a rivalry with him that sometimes goes beyond the limits, as he secretly envies his brother a lot, as this is partly Odin's favorite, but what he does not know is that his own father and mother hide the darkest secret, this would make him hate everyone and seek revenge in part in his life.

    19719793.jpg-r_1920_1080-f_jpg-q_x-xxyxx.jpg

    Jane Foster:

      Jane Foster:

We meet Jane Foster, an astrophysicist and astronomer who for years has been studying certain events that happen on earth, which she does not see as normal, as this may be causing other things that humanity does not yet know and wants to be the first to discover it.

While hunting this phenomenon one day, what she would not imagine is that she would meet a certain special person who by fate would collide and meet, thus changing her whole life and that of her companions.

A Fallen God and an Unexpected Betrayal:

Being the first son of Odin and having so much power along with his countless victories, this despite his age, still thinks like a boy and a warrior, this being the reason that led him to make two big mistakes in his life and pay dearly, taking one of them as a result the near loss of a loved one and the start of a war.

After arguing with his father, our friend will be stripped of all his powers and benefits, leading him to be banished from his lands and to pay his sentence to a certain special planet that would be the beginning of the change that he needs.

As Asgard is a world that would only be in dreams not everything is perfect, because within the kingdom there is a certain person who does not agree with everything that this kingdom is, leading to almost the destruction of everything we know, this being one of the reasons why so many problems.

What did our beloved Thor do to be thrown out of his kingdom? Who will be the new king of Asgard? Who will be the traitor that almost led to the death of a powerful being?

You'll find out by watching this movie!

    Conclusion

I liked the movie, the way it tells the story is good, they take their time to explain things and the details that happen in it, they have good special effects and the soundtrack is good.

The acting of each of the actors is good, each one brings their personality to each role they were given. My favorite actors are Thor, Odin and Loki.

The chemistry that Thor and Loki have for me is one of the best, to see how these two have that love-hate and look so good every time they share a scene is the best of the movie, no doubt these two were born to be together and play these characters.

Seeing how Thor has that character development seeing him so cocky and arrogant, and with the passing of his injuries and seeing how he starts to be more humble and think more like a king and be worthy of all his power, is well done and I liked it a lot.

Seeing how Loki is the one who always wants to make Thor's life impossible, and yet loving him makes us hate and love this character, but seeing how they have hidden this hard truth from him all his life and seeing him explode in front of his father makes us love this mischievous character.

For me Odin is my favorite character, the actor made him incredible, I can't imagine seeing another actor with that role, just as it happens to me with Thor and Loki, seeing how he teaches these two possible kings.

All the injuries that he teaches to these two is good, in this story the phrase that I loved the most was the one he tells these two as a child "A wise king never seeks war, but must always be ready for it" without a doubt the life experience of the father of all is noticeable.

Seeing how Thor and Loki carry half of the upbringing their father has given them was very well written, as we hear that phrase he says to these children we see how it can be split in half and there are these two characters, while one is bold and ready for war the other is more calculating and strategist.

Which one is which? You'll find out when you see the movie.

Darcy is tremendous, she doesn't mince words and doesn't think twice to say things, the times she appears on the scene she amuses me a lot.

Undoubtedly the three gods and the actors who play them I can't imagine other actors in these roles, especially Loki.

The audience to which you can see this movie is for over 13 years old, it is good to see it with the family and enjoy it.

  4. Thor – Movie Review@readingdanvers2094d

    Thor.jpg

Thor was directed by Kenneth Branagh. Yes, Kenneth Branagh directed a Marvel movie in case you forgot. He tried to bring his Shakespearean flare to the movie. This movie is a hybrid between Norse mythology and Marvel comic book lore. I think the movie is more Norse mythology then the comics. It's actually a pretty funny movie. I forgot how fun it is.

Chris Hemsworth plays Thor, the god of lightning and thunder. He has a quick temper and a nice heart, and he is a spoiled brat in a sense. Tom Hiddleston plays Loki, the god of mischief. He is always jealous of his brother and that jealousy becomes worse when he finds out his true heritage. Anthony Hopkins as the obligatory look we have a really good Oscar caliber actor in our movie, plays Odin. The allfather fails to make a big impression in this movie. Idris Elba plays Heimdall who is the keeper of the bifrost, which allows travel in and out of Asgard. Ray Stevenson, Tadanobu Asano, Tadanobu Asano, Josh Dallas and Jaimie Alexander play the three warriors and lady Sif, Thor's friends who no one really cares about. On the human side of the matters Natalie Portman plays Jane Foster, the love interest and an astrophysicist. Stellan Skarsgård plays Erik Selvig her teacher and her mento. Kat Dennings plays Darcy Lewis, an intern with no connection to what they are actually doing. And Clark Gregg returns as Agent Coulson. We also get a cameo which the only introduction that Jeremy Renner gets as Clint Barton/Hawkeye.

The main problem of this movie is that it is mostly exposition. And Thor's bleached eyebrows. I mean it just stands out. A lot. It's good that the exposition is really good, because I think it is half of the movie. I mean sure the movie starts with Jane and her team chasing what appears to be a storm and runs Thor over, but then we get the entire background story. I mean we get the war between Asgard and Jotunheim, Thor and Loki growing up, and the current conflict between Asgard and Jotunheim and Thor and Loki's relationship. Loki did ruin Thor's big day and Thor went to Jotunheim to find out what happened. And Thor ends up in a big fight there. A fight which causes a fight between him and Odin which causes Odin to banish him to Earth. That's a lot of exposition. Although we do get a lot of sneaky Loki. I mean, after Thanos, Loki is the best Marvel villain and Hiddleston has a lot of charisma in this movie.

The scenes between Thor and Jane are actually pretty funny. Chris Hemsworth is a talent comedy actor. You can see a lot of potential in his in this movie. Some of it is unfulfilled, both in comedy and drama. He manages to charm all of his human friends at least. Despite his terrible behavior. Really disrespecting spoiled behavior.

Thor must prove that he is worthy to get his powers back and at first he fails. Although it is fun to see him wrestle all of S.H.I.E.L.D's security to try and get to his hammer. Then he can't lift it because he is not worthy. Also, Loki is so manipulative, telling Thor that his father has died and that his mother forbids his return. The jealously is strong in him. So is his faulted logic. Asking his biological father to kill his adoptive father, so he can prove himself to his adoptive father by killing his biological father. That's not a great plan. Neither are all of his plans. Like try to destroy Jotunheim better then Thor did. Or trying to killing Thor with the destroyer, which made Thor prove that he is worthy and get his powers back. I understand that Loki is confused since he found out that he is adopted, and he is hurt, and jealous, but this makes no sense. Luckily Hiddleston acting is so great that it works.

Even though it's not a great movie, everyone in it does such a great job that it totally works. It becomes a fun and engrossing movie to watch. So much fun. I think that the humor also works really well. I basically forgot how much I really like this movie. It stands the test of time pretty well. Except for the terrible CGI on Asgrad, that doesn't work. But most of the movie does.

The post credit scene sets up Loki finding the Tesseract and the Avengers movie brilliantly.
