The tick is basically a parody of superheroes that is very relevant today due to the constant bombardment of annoying and monotonous superhero movies now. This was a cool series. My only complaint would be that the ending was pretty anti-climactic. Some things were teased for another season. Mothman's stepdad somehow is a martial arts master.
