To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You

This is a review of the second part of the franchise I had started, you can read the review of the first part here. Personally, I enjoyed the series of the franchise more than the first three but I love how the story builds up to the story in the series so I'm glad to share a review of them.

If you remember the first part, it is about Lara Jean having to face all her crushes as her secret letters got sent to them unknowingly to her. The experience took her to become a pretend girlfriend and the story ends with her becoming a real girlfriend to Peter and they don't have to fake.

And then, this second part explores an unexpected turn of event in the life of Lara Jean especially as a new girlfriend to a popular guy in school but having no idea what it would mean to keep the relationship going in the face of a crush she once had, wrote to and is back to do community service with her. The tension begins.

"To All The Boys I've loved P.S I Still Love You" is a franchise movie, it's first release was in 2020 starring Lana Condor as Lara Jane and Noah Centineo as Peter, Jordan Fisher as John Ambrose, both as main characters with Anna Cathcart as Kitty, Andrew Bachelor, Israel Broussard, John Corbett and other supporting characters with good presence in the main story.

The story goes like this... Lara Jean is excited about her new relationship with Peter until she gets a letter from one of her crush who got her letter, John Ambrose. She is surprised to get the letter, excited to think that someone likes her after Peter and unsure on how to go about holding the new feelings in her new dating era.

My personal thought on this part of the franchise is the lesson I learned from Peter's reaction to the new guy around his new girlfriend. He has trusted her in a short time, he is also intentional with Lara Jean and I love how it helped give a better perspective to Lara Jane and her feelings.

Over all, the second part was a necessary part I didn't know I needed at the time I saw the first part. And it is the same for the next one which I'll review soon. If you're yet to see this one, I'd recommend it. Let me know if you will see it.
