  1. Train Dreams 2025/ It reminded me what it's like to be in love100@katriel11d

As a woman who has known loneliness and abandonment, watching "Train Dreams" (2025) was like a beacon of hope for those who have suffered heartbreak. Directed by Clint Bentley and based on Denis Johnson's beautiful novel, this film transported me to a time when true love seemed simpler, but I was undoubtedly wrong.

The story follows Robert Grainier, a lumberjack and railroad worker, played by the talented Joel Edgerton. From the very first moment, I felt connected to his world, to those beautiful landscapes of the American Northwest that seem to speak of dreams and memories, reminiscent of the countryside around my hometown. The soft, moving music filled me with fond memories of when I was deeply in love, making each scene feel incredibly real. I truly felt deeply in love.

Throughout the film, we see the evolution of the industry and how society is searching for new paths. Robert meets Gladys, the love of his life; they fall in love in such a tender way. But, as in real life, there is also pain. The loss that Robert faces reminded me of my own struggles, those moments when love feels so close and, at the same time, so far away.

Unlike other romantic comedies filled with drama, Robert's devotion is quiet and profound. He doesn't shout his love; he lives it in every small gesture, in every memory. For him, being faithful isn't a burden, but a way to honor what his love meant. Seeing him keep that love in his heart, despite the loneliness, is an experience that touched me to my very soul, and that's why I say this movie broke my heart. This is the kind of love every woman needs.

If you've ever dreamed of a love that transcends time, this film is for you. Robert's loyalty is incredible and deeply moving; it makes you believe that true love does exist, and although it can hurt, it can also be a light in the darkness. It's a story that stays with you, that embraces you, and leaves you pondering what it truly means to love. Without a doubt, a film I won't forget.
