No doubt that I like any kinds movies of that Michael Jai White directed, his an expert in martial arts and I like his hand to hand combat. This movie is Trouble Man and unlike before that his movie will be full of actions alone, this is mixed with both actions and comedy and it's a very interesting movie that was shot for more and an hour plus.
In this movie Michael Jai White, is called Jaxen and his a retired police officer who now takes jobs from people, also works in a bar as a higher security officer. The movie started with Mr Jaxen hired to treat the fuck up of a doctor who always beat up his wife at home. So Mr Jaxen do as directed and meet the doctor in his gym and beat up his ass and makes him know the worth of a woman.
Jaxen was then hired by Holland to look for Jahari, someone he used to do bodyguard before, it was believed that she started doing drugs again, and they want her to focus on her music carrier. Jaxen took the job since it's a good pay and it's someone he always like to protect. He traced it down to Myron aka (Money). He happens to be his boyfriend and of course he should know where she is.
But unfortunately she wasn't picking up her calls, that was when Jaxen and Myron got to know she's been kidnapped, when Jaxen was finding clues on how to get Jahari, he was attacked and Jaxen girlfriend got shot. His girlfriend called Gina, who is in a fight relationship with her boyfriend just because he doesn't always have time for him. While Jaxen was telling her about how dangerous her work can be.
For the first time, she was shot and she understand how difficult and dangerous Jaxen work can be. She was taken care of and she was fine, on the other hand, the clue Jaxen found took him back to Holland and realized that Holland who hired him also know about Jahari missing, not knowing fully well that Jahari was in a custody of an Asian woman who borrowed Holland some money and took Jahari in exchange just in case he doesn't get to pay.
Jaxen and Myron, team up with their team mates and find, Jahari locations and they rescued her, Jahari was rescued after lots of hand to hand combat, and Jaxen was beaten thinking they had killed him. Meanwhile the Asian woman got to know that Jahari as escaped but she will not spare her and Holland since he's yet to get her money, then she called Gina, Jaxen girlfriend to come to Holland place of work, not knowing it's a trap, Holland was beating and just some minute to get him killed, Jaxen and Myron rescued both Holland and Gina including the secretary and killed the Asian woman together with her teammates.
The movie is a good one and the actions is top-notch, it's something to watch if you like action movies.
