Unplanned is a 2019 American drama film written and directed by Cary Solomon and Chuck Konzelman. It is based on the disputed 2011 memoir Unplanned by anti-abortion activist Abby Johnson. The film stars Ashley Bratcher as Johnson, following her life as a clinic director for Planned Parenthood and her subsequent transition to anti-abortion activism.

So in case you are uninitiated, *Unplanned* is a 2019 biography-drama about the experiences of a woman who worked in an abortion clinic and was converted to a staunchly pro-life position through what she saw and did in her day-to-day life while becoming the director of a Planned Parenthood clinic in Texas. *Unplanned* is the latest "faith-based" film to hit my local theaters. It is also the most controversial in recent memory. I always take a few minutes to peruse the reviews at IMDb to see how they arrive at their ratings and to see what ratings were given by people who took time to watch the film.
