    Hello to all the members of this community and anime lovers! Unlike previous times, where I have told you about animes that I wanted to see for a long time or guided by recommendations, this time I let myself be carried away by what was available on one of the streaming services that I use to watch anime (Pluto tv). Here I was able to watch the complete anime Kaleido Star and Genie Family 2020, which I enjoyed a lot and mentioned in past posts. Although not everything is good, since there I was also able to see Diabolik Lovers, an anime that I ended up hating, but that I still watched in full (and I also complained about it here 😆). In the case of UtaPrince, I think it could be somewhere in the middle of the scale. Why? Well, let me explain what the issue is about 👀

    The main character and central focus of the story is Haruka Nanami, a sweet, helpful and gentle girl who wants to enter the prestigious Saotome Academy, a place that prepares the most talented people to become future idols and composers. Since she was very young, Nanami grew up in the countryside due to her poor health, listening to classical music and learning to play the piano with her grandmother, developing a genuine love for music. Until one day, when she goes to the city and suffers an anxiety attack, she is attracted and calmed by the beautiful singing of a young man... A famous singer named Hayato, dreaming of one day being able to write a song for him. I really like Nanami because despite being an "ordinary girl", she has a charisma that you end up liking.

    But getting into the academy isn't easy. At least not if you're late on the day of the tests because you helped someone along the way. After some boys come to intervene for her at the academy gate, Nanami is finally allowed to enter and take the test. Once she passes, the girl meets up with the boys who helped her on that occasion and meets some new ones, who also seem to spark an interest in her.

    Now, let's talk about the attractive future idols that Nanami meets. Let's start with Otoya Ittoki, he is a redhead with an energetic, cheerful and positive character. He helps Nanami when the security doesn't allow her to enter because she is late and tries to intercede for her. Personally, I don't like this character very much, his intensity with Nanami is somewhat irritating to me haha ​​😅

    The other boy who helps Nanami on the day of the test is Ren Jingūji. A rather handsome, egocentric, haughty and seductive blond, who does not hesitate to impose his "love" on the girl after being charmed by the young woman's nobility (since he was the one who saw her helping someone and that's why he arrived late), managing to be quite invasive when talking to her. He usually does whatever he wants, so his grades are not the best because he doesn't want to do his homework. It's clear that he's the one I dislike the most of all haha ​​He has a rivalry with Masato Hijirikawa that borders on BL, the only reason I put up with him 😆

    On the other hand, we have Masato Hijirikawa, the rival of the seductive blond and one of the idols that I do like (so you can see that I'm not just complaining about the poor boys 👉👈). He's a blue-haired boy with a cold personality, quite serious and formal, so he makes a quite marked contrast with Ren (and for that reason, they make a nice couple 💕). He's quite respectful with Nanami and with everyone he interacts with, which makes him a quite reserved person and for that reason, he keeps his distance from the others. In short, he's the most serious and sensible in the group of idols with raging hormones 😏

    One that I like "halfway" is Natsuki Shinomiya, the typical boy with glasses who is friendly with everyone and most of the time acts kind of silly. He has a thing for small and cute things, so because of that, he ends up feeling attracted to Nanami (because she reminds him of a puppy 😆 and I don't blame him, Nanami can be very sweet). He loves cooking, but that doesn't mean he does it well, so he makes those who try his cooking suffer. He's very adorable to a certain point... because he has a split personality and that's terrible, that's why I say that I like him "halfway", because when he shows that personality, the character is the complete opposite and you can end up hating him for the way he treats poor Nanami.

    Another one I like is Syo Kurusu, who is often teased for his height, as he is shorter than the other idols. He is somewhat childish, so he tends to throw tantrums when people tease him, which only causes them to tease him further. He shares a lot with Natsuki, who uses him as a guinea pig most of the time and obviously, their interaction for me, is pure shipping. I really like that couple. Like the rest, he shows interest in Nanami... but, BL wins 👍

    And finally, we have Tokiya Ichinose, another one that I don't like haha ​​because he looks physically identical to his idol Hayato, Nanami gets excited to meet him, only to realize that they definitely can't be the same person, since Hayato is a fun and cheerful guy and Ichinose is bitter, very cold (more than Masato), behaving somewhat rude with Nanami, just for having confused him with Hayato. There is a mystery with this character 👀

    There are other characters that are integrated as the plot progresses, but these are the main ones. Nanami will then have to make every effort to become a composer and, in addition, have her romance with the group of boys who seek to woo her with the power of their vocal charms.

    Click to read my opinion about the anime

    First of all, I confess that I'm not a fan of "reverse harem", which is how this type of anime is usually called, where a pretty girl has to live with a group of handsome boys. I only like it to ship the male characters among themselves and in UtaPrince, I got a lot of that, so I liked it for that aspect (since I consider that none of the boys are a good match for Nanami).

    I could complain about how annoying or uncomfortable I find the way the boys try to get Nanami's attention, since I myself had a personality similar to the girl's when I was a teenager, so I know how terrible it is to "go with the flow", for being unable to set limits... but well, that's the "charm" of this type of series, I guess. What I did like, is that Nanami was focused on her desire to compose, rather than on making eyes at the boys.

    However, there was something that definitely disappointed me about the anime... I did expect to encounter the challenges of a future composer and what it entails to dedicate oneself to that. I didn't know that the anime was based on a visual novel, so I crashed expecting more talk about musical composition haha

    The songs are beautiful, I love them. It's basically a musical anime where each chapter each character has their moment of relief through a song and that fascinates me. I became a fan of the songs of an anime called "Marginal Prince" and I remember that those were my favorite parts, when they sang. The openings and endings are very good.

    The character design also seems to me to be one of its strong points because yes... the idols are very attractive, even the ones that are not to my taste haha. I take the opportunity to mention that one of my favorite characters is the director of the academy. He is a super crazy character who puts all his style into his appearance. The director is great 😎

    It's not one of the best animes I've seen and it did get me off guard, but I think it's because I've already gone through the stage where that type of "romance" seemed ideal to me haha ​​Still, I recommend it if you're a fan of musicals, cute boys and of course BL which isn't BL, but we know it is 😏

    ¡Hola a todos los integrantes de esta comunidad y amantes del anime! A diferencia de las veces anteriores, en donde les he hablado de animes que quería ver desde hace tiempo o guiada por recomendaciones, en esta ocasión me dejé llevar por lo que estaba disponible en uno de los servicios de streaming que utilizo para ver anime (Pluto tv). Aquí pude ver completo el anime Kaleido Star y Genie Family 2020, los cuales disfruté mucho y mencioné en publicaciones pasadas. Aunque no todo es bueno, ya que allí también pude ver Diabolik Lovers, un anime que acabé detestando, pero que igual me vi completo (y también me quejé de él por acá 😆). En el caso de UtaPrince, creo que podría estar en un punto medio de la balanza ¿Por qué? Bueno, déjenme que les explique de que va la cuestión 👀

    La protagonista de la historia y foco central de la misma, es Haruka Nanami, una chica de carácter dulce, servicial y apacible que desea con ingresar en la prestigiosa Academia Saotome, lugar que prepara a las personas más talentosas para convertirse en futuros idols y compositores. Desde muy pequeña, Nanami creció en el campo por su salud delicada, escuchando música clásica y aprendiendo a tocar el piano junto a su abuela, desarrollando un amor genuino por la música. Hasta que un día, al ir a la ciudad y sufrir un ataque de ansiedad, es atraída y tranquilizada por el hermoso canto de un joven... Un cantante famoso llamado Hayato, soñando con algún día, poder escribir una canción para él. Me gusta mucho Nanami porque a pesar de ser una "chica ordinaria", tiene un carisma que te acaba gustando.

    Pero, ingresar en la academia no es nada fácil. Al menos no si llegas tarde el día de las pruebas por ayudar a alguien en el camino. Luego de que unos chicos se acercasen a intervenir por ella en la puerta de la academia, finalmente a Nanami se le permite el acceso y la posterior realización de la prueba. Una vez que aprueba, la chica se reencuentra con los chicos que la ayudaron en aquella ocasión y conoce a unos nuevos, que también parecen despertar interés en ella.

    Ahora, hablemos de los atractivos futuros idols con los que se encuentra Nanami. Comencemos con Otoya Ittoki, él es un pelirrojo de carácter enérgico, alegre y positivo. Ayuda a Nanami cuando los de seguridad no permiten que ingrese por llegar tarde y trata de interceder por ella. En lo personal, no me gusta mucho éste personaje, su intensidad con Nanami me resulta algo irritante jaja 😅

    El otro chico que ayuda a Nanami el día de la prueba, es Ren Jingūji. Un rubio bastante apuesto, egocéntrico, altanero y seductor, que no duda en imponer su "amor" hacia la chica luego de haber sido encantado por la nobleza de la joven (ya que, el fue el que la vio ayudando a alguien y por eso llegó tarde), logrando ser bastante invasivo a la hora de hablar con ella. Suele hacer lo que le da la gana, así que sus notas no son las mejores porque no quiere hacer los deberes. Se nota que es el que más me cae mal de todos jaja Tiene una rivalidad con Masato Hijirikawa que raya en lo BL, única razón por la que lo soportaba 😆

    Por otro lado, tenemos a Masato Hijirikawa, el rival del rubio seductor y uno de los idols que sí me gusta (para que vean que no sólo me quejo de los pobres chicos 👉👈). Es un peliazul de personalidad fría, bastante serio y formal, así que hace un contraste bastante marcado con Ren (y por eso, hacen linda pareja 💕). Es bastante respetuoso con Nanami y con todo aquel con el que tiene interacción, lo que lo hace una persona bastante reservada y por lo mismo, mantiene la distancia con los demás. En resumen, es el más serio y con sentido común en el grupo de idols con las hormonas alborotadas 😏

    Uno que me gusta "a medias", es Natsuki Shinomiya, el típico chico de lentes que es amigable con todo mundo y que la mayoría del tiempo se comporta medio tonto. Tiene una afición por las cosas pequeñas y lindas, así que por eso mismo, acaba sintiéndose atraído por Nanami (porque le recuerda a un cachorrito 😆 y no lo culpo, Nanami puede ser muy tierna). Le encanta cocinar, pero eso no significa que lo haga bien, así que hace sufrir a los que prueban lo que cocina. Es muy adorable hasta cierto punto... porque tiene doble personalidad y esa es terrible, por eso digo que me gusta "a medias", porque cuando saca esa personalidad, el personaje es todo lo opuesto y puedes llegar a odiarlo por el modo en que trata a la pobre Nanami.

    Otro de los que me agradan es Syo Kurusu, al cual suelen molestar por su estatura, ya que es más pequeño que los otros idols. Es algo infantil, así que suele estallar en berrinches cuando se meten con él, lo que sólo provoca que sigan molestándolo. Comparte mucho con Natsuki, quien lo usa de conejillo de indias la mayoría del tiempo y evidentemente, su interacción para mí, es shippeo puro. Me gusta mucho esa pareja. Como lo demás, muestra interés por Nanami... pero, BL gana 👍

    Y finalmente, tenemos a Tokiya Ichinose, otro que me cae mal jaja al lucir físicamente idéntico a su ídolo Hayato, Nanami se emociona al conocerlo, sólo para darse cuenta de que definitivamente no pueden ser la misma persona, dado que Hayato, es un chico divertido y alegre y Ichinose, es amargado, muy frío (más que Masato), portándose algo grosero con Nanami, por sólo haberlo confundido con Hayato. Hay un misterio con éste personaje 👀

    Hay otros personajes que van integrándose a medida que transcurre la trama, pero estos son los principales. Nanami entonces, tendrá que esforzarse al máximo para lograr volverse una compositora y de añadido, tener su romance con el grupo de chicos que busca de enamorarla con el poder de sus encantos vocales.

    Clickear para leer mi opinion sobre el anime

    Primero que nada, confieso que no soy amante del "harem invertido", que es como se le suele llamar a éste tipo de animes en donde una chica linda, tiene que convivir con un grupo de chicos guapos. Sólo me gusta para shippear a los personajes masculinos entre ellos y en UtaPrince, obtuve bastante de eso, así que me gustó por ese lado (ya que considero que ninguno de los chicos es buen partido para Nanami).

    Podría quejarme de lo molesto o incómodo que se me hace el modo en que los chicos tratan de llamar la atención de Nanami, ya que yo misma tuve una personalidad parecida a la de la chica cuando era adolescente, por lo que sé lo terrible que es "seguir la corriente", por ser incapaz de poner límites... pero bueno, ese es el "encanto" de éste tipo de series, supongo. Lo que sí me gusto, es que Nanami estaba centrada en su deseo de componer, más que en echarle ojitos a los chicos.

    Sin embargo, hubo algo que me decepcionó definitivamente del anime... yo sí esperaba encontrarme con los desafíos de una futura compositora y lo que conllevaba dedicarse a eso. No sabía que el anime estaba basado en una novela visual, así que me estrellé esperando que se hablara más sobre composición musical jaja

    Las canciones son hermosas, me encantan. Es básicamente un anime musical en donde cada capitulo cada personaje tiene su momento de desahogo a través de una canción y eso me fascina. Llegué a ser fan de las canciones de un anime llamado "Marginal Prince" y recuerdo que esa era mis partes favoritas, cuando cantaban. Los openings y los endings, son muy buenos.

    El diseño de personajes también me parece de sus puntos fuertes porque sí... los idols son muy atractivos, inclusive los que no son de mi gusto jaja Aprovecho de mencionar que uno de mis personajes favoritos es el director de la academia. Es un personaje súper alocado que le pone todo su estilo a la hora de aparecer. Es grande el director 😎

    No es de los mejores animes que he visto y si me sacaba de onda, pero considero que es porque ya pasé por la etapa en que ese tipo de "romance", me parecía ideal jaja Aún así, lo recomiendo si eres fans de los musicales, de los chicos lindos y por supuesto del BL que no es BL, pero nosotros sabemos que sí lo es 😏
