  1. Wedding Crashers (film): Great fun@gooddream2710d

It has been a long time since I thought about this film but it is a winner. It is also one of the first times I ever recall seeing Bradley Cooper in a movie and nowadays he is a much bigger star than either Vince Vaughn or Owen Wilson.

I don't know how realistic it is that a couple of buddies go to weddings and party for free and end up hooking up with single ladies at each one of them but I will say this, it certainly does seem like a good idea. I mean think about it: Nobody knows everyone at a wedding and if they don't know you it would likely be presumed you were here with the "other side" of the family. Of course there are many ways that this could go terribly wrong but whatever, it is fiction.

So a love story ends up being intermingled into the storyline because well, where else were they going to go with this? I am not going to reveal a great deal about it but let's just say that Christopher Walken is involved, and that is almost always cool. Also Bradley Cooper pre huge fame is an interesting piece of history as this was made back in 2005 when he was relatively unknown.

The movie is funny in the way that Owen and VInce make movies funny. A lot of fast talking and scenarios that seem completely absurd but the two of them have a massive amount of rules that are pretty incredible when you take the time to think about them. I, like everyone else out there, thought about crashing weddings at one point or another but I guess in the end I had too much fear of hurting someone's feeling to actually try it out.

The trailer does a pretty good job of summing it up. I think that this is one of the better comedies of the 2000's and it definitely worth seeing. You get extra points for knowing about the meatloaf scene. This movie made more than $200 million.

    "yip-yip-yip!"
