Welcome my dear travelers desiring the internet and thank you very much for having made a temporary stop in my post, my most lasting toxic relationship is the one I have with horror films because I love the genre but most of its current exponents are embarrassing others, as I still have faith (I had faith with the vinotinto yesterday and I will continue to have faith with this genre) the film that brings us together today entitled "Wish Upon" It focuses on the consequences to pay after something fulfills our whims. Bienvenidos mis queridos viajeros deseadores del internet y muchas gracias por haber hecho una parada temporal en mi post, mi relación tóxica más duradera es la que tengo con los filmes de terror debido a que amo el género pero la mayoría de sus exponentes actuales dan vergüenza ajena, como sigo teniendo fe (Tuve fe con la vinotinto ayer y seguiré teniendo fe con este género) el filme que hoy nos reúne titulado "Wish Upon" se enfoca en las consecuencias a pagar después que algo cumpla nuestros caprichos. Sin más que agregar prepárense para pedir cosas pues estamos por comenzar.

The construction of the world is bland and without anything good to highlight, it is the typical stereotypical American teenage life, a girl who is average with a small number of friends at school, being also that the abuse in her school is constant and blah blah blah, nothing to highlight since everything feels very boring and tedious to show zero creativity, As cherry on the cake is the lack of dedication to explore the background of the cursed object that makes the whole plot possible, only a loose and boring explanation is given that is completely unsatisfactory.
La construcción de mundo es sosa y sin nada bueno que destacar, es la típica vida adolescente estadounidense estereotípica, una chica que es promedio con un número reducido de amigos en la escuela, siendo además que el maltrato en su escuela es constante y bla bla bla, nada que destacar ya que todo se siente muy aburrido y tedioso al mostrar una creatividad nula, como cereza del postre está la nula dedicación por explorar el trasfondo del objeto maldito que posibilita toda la trama, solo se da una explicación floja y aburrida que es completamente insatisfactoria.

La trama es un dolor genital muy insufrible, a lo largo de esta se siente como la ausencia de cerebro tiene una fuerte presencia siendo los decesos los peores logrados que haya visto, llegue a pensar en un punto que era una sátira y por ello todo era tan descerebrado, pero no, esas muertes imbéciles que parecen sacas de Happy Tree Friends pretenden ser tomadas en serio; este nivel de imbecilidad también rodea al terror el cual es completamente patético. Su duración me pareció una tortura siendo que a los 20 minutos ya anhelaba que este suplicio terminará, es increíble que está desgracia tuviese la osadía de durar más de una hora la cual solo está plagada de acciones retrasadas, problemáticas estúpidas cargadas de inmadurez y de personajes desagradables que solo parecen tener el objetivo de ser los más insufribles posibles.

Por si no quedó claro en el apartado final lo recalcó que asco de personajes, todos sin excepción son unos completos retrasados y su ausencia de neuronas la compensan con cromosomas, es increíble que este bodrio cinematográfico tenga la característica que logra hacer que todos sus personajes sean imbéciles. Pero ¿Por lo menos la protagonista se salva un poco? No exactamente, esta niña es completamente imbécil y condensa todas las estupideces que se pueden ver en los filmes escolares estereotípicos, es una chica con pocos amigos que quiere ser popular y todas esas tonterías y se avergüenza de su padre el cual solo cumple la función de ser un retrasado esta pudo tener cierto carácter interesante producto del suicidio de su madre que le dejo secuelas pero eso solo se utiliza como una excusa barata para sientas empatía por esta, como bonus está el hecho de que complica todo porque es una codiciosa enfermiza haciendo que su trágico final se sienta muy satisfactorio y como justicia poética.
Wish Upon leaves me intrigued since I can not understand how such a bodrio managed to have the green light and that people in the middle considered that it could be a success, it is simply pathetic to not have any decent horror scene and only limit itself to showing the most pathetic deaths that you can think of, it does absolutely nothing right and its plot twists are a joke. It is for all the above that he deserves half a star of 7, he feels like a bastard son of 16 Disney Wishes only that with a completely unsatisfactory reflection, a null development and less credible deaths than those of 1000 Ways to Die, the only good thing is that in the end his unpleasant protagonist ends up well dead.
Wish Upon me deja intrigado puesto que no logro entender cómo semejante bodrio logro tener luz verde y que personas del medio consideraron que podría ser un éxito, es sencillamente patética al no tener ninguna escena de terror decente y solo limitarse a mostrar las muertes más patéticas que se te puedan ocurrir, no hace absolutamente nada bien y sus giros argumentales son un chiste. Es por todo lo anterior que merece media estrella de 7, se siente como un hijo bastardo de 16 Wishes de Disney solo que con una reflexión completamente insatisfactoria, un nulo desarrollo y muertes menos creíbles que las de 1000 Ways to Die, lo único bueno es que al final su desagradable protagonista acaba bien muerta.
