Work–life balance

Hi, guys!

So far, my attempts to balance work and rest haven't been very successful. For the last few days, I've been feeling really unwell and can't work at all. I'm only filming one review a day for the blog, which I immediately post, and that's about it for now. But I'm hoping that in a couple of days I'll recover and be able to start working on balance again. This week, nothing has worked out again, but at least I've started walking the dogs again, and that's at least a small plus.

Now I'm planning to take the dogs out, take the youngest one for her vaccination, and then, when I get home, I'll film a video review of a book for the blog. After that, I'm planning on giving some musical educational sessions for the neighbors while I finish reading the book for the next review. So, everything is planned out; I'm just getting a lot less done than I planned this week. Nevertheless, the process is progressing, and quite actively. Although my blog is growing rapidly, I'm still a mysterious no-name to publishers, and I have to approach them myself and negotiate. I hope to reach the next level sooner or later, but so far it hasn't happened.

Yesterday I saw a video with data on how much you should really charge for book reviews, and I've taken it into account for now. I'll keep it in mind. For now, I'm happy that I'm even getting books to advertise.

So, let's keep growing, and then we'll see how I can make money from this. After all, I'm still just building this career.
