  1. (ENG/SPA) Charles Xavier The Diplomat@promete0sz1081d

Charles Xavier is a character from the X Men movies who represents Diplomacy, this review contains spoilers so I can express myself calmly about him. He is a mutant so he has also suffered to some extent the contempt that many humans feel for his kind but he also sees the good in their hearts and that not everyone has this hatred for them in their being.

He is a Leader character that like many, has the characteristic of manipulation on his side, he knows how to use the verb very well and manages to convince many to follow his ideal, I admire the way he places things in his favor because not just anyone in very adverse situations manages to guide a group of people who have suffered harm to overcome and do the right thing.

The fact that he is a manipulator does not make him a petty or frivolous character, on the contrary, it makes him more human because what he has as an objective is the right thing, is to achieve Peace and for this he has to use all his mental capacity, not his powers but his argument so that other characters who have suffered harassment like Jean, Wolverine among others are convinced themselves and recognize that his goal is noble and correct.

That is why I consider him to be a diplomat because those who have this way of being, as long as they are the good ones, have a noble objective which is the conciliation between the parties regardless of the conflictive background that created the hatred between the parties.

The great weakness of this character is precisely that, being diplomatic, we can speak wonders of these people with that personality that tends towards dialogue but if something they do not do is to act, they stay in the palaver, in the lip service and there come points, moments in which you must act because the options are to win or be eradicated, before the latter there is no option to dialogue and there is only fight.

Charles is a very intelligent character, he recognizes his weakness and that is the reason why he creates the X Men group to fight for him, that is why he is a great leader because he is a great manipulator with a noble goal, to achieve peace between humans and mutants.

    The Conflict, Source of Image

The point that I consider makes this character one of the most reasonable is that he has not suffered in great magnitude what others have, he has a physique that goes unnoticed among humans, a power that makes him suffer pain in that initial stage of adolescence but at least he is not responsible for causing any damage that even in other mutants is irreparable to their families respectively.

This makes him see things more clearly and keep his goal firm, that is why the great conflict with his great friend Magneto is born, who during each story in the films, we see that he suffered an enormous suffering because he lost his family during the holocaust, was forever marked in his being with a tattoo that will remind him of those moments, that is why he is the great counterpart of Charles.

Charles only talks while Magneto executes, it happens that the dialogue between the two does not reach a mediation and remains in conflict because of what I mentioned above, Magneto does not fall into the palaver of Charles that at certain points of the story if I share the idea of Magneto, Humans like Striker want to eradicate them globally and Charles wants to dialogue when there are beings with whom you can not talk, you have to act force and that is where the conflict between these two great friends persists.

The Power of Speech, Gif of Peakd Source

Precisely the conflicts that in some way triggered the first three X Men movies, Charles has his responsibility, first is the conflict with Magneto, second was the failure to treat the son of Striker who is the illusionist, this is key and generates one of the most powerful plot battles of the trilogy and in itself the world of cinematic superheroes and in the third the excessive control over Jean.

In the cinematic aspect, this character is fundamental, he is the backbone of many stories whose central problems are born of conflicts that Charles did not know how to solve, I understand him, in the end he is just a mutant, he is not a god although he has psychic powers that seem to make him one but his solutions are not absolute, they leave loose ends.

One of the best characters in this whole saga, trilogy of three first movies played by the actor Patrick Stewart who deserves 10 out of 10, he has a huge acting potential, the casting by Bryan Singer is right, it is a comic accuracy 100%, I see the actor playing Xavier and it's like watching a comic page.

The way he expresses himself so that the rest of the characters do what he thinks is right, he manages to convince me many times, I fall into his psychic power of manipulation so to speak, only Magneto frees me from his stupidity because I agree that when it is time to use force, it must be done because if there is something about words is that they are very weak to change ideals.

I dedicate each and every one of my posts and videos to my little dog named princess, we called her chiquito, she is no longer with us but from heaven she will see that her existence was valuable and the most beautiful thing that will exist in my heart and soul.

    Movie Review:

It will be easier to understand if we think of the movie in terms of two characters. One is the hero character and the other is the villain character. All the movies here feature both heroes and villains among the mutants, as well as humans, in the most vulnerable and dangerous situations. As a result, it can be understood that in the world where humans were the most powerful and intelligent, humans are now the most helpless mutants in the world. As a result, we will see a conflict between mutants and humans.

In the movie we see two wonderful heroes in the character of Charles and Eric. Where Claude or Sevestien is in front as the enemy of the two. Sevestian poses a danger to mutants and normal humans like Charles. Along with him, Eric's mother was killed by Sevestian in front of his eyes when he was young, leading to many adventures and interesting fights to kill the enemy of all, Sevestian.

    [IMAGE](https://www.tor.com/2018/12/07/peace-was-never-an-option-x-men-first-class/)

Throughout the movie, Charles and Eric team up to kill Sebastien, but Eric and Charles begin a feud. As a result, the mutants split into two groups led by Eric and Charles. For they were both the most experienced, the most powerful, and by them the good and the destructive evil means of attaining the same thing were beautifully shown.

His reputation as an excellent professor is seen in training young mutants to live well with humans, and Charles strives to work for the good of mutants and humans through a natural process. As a result, the American government allows mutants to live and everyone can live in harmony by benefiting each other.

    [IMAGE](https://www.tor.com/2018/12/07/peace-was-never-an-option-x-men-first-class/)

Eric, on the other hand, has had a great anger towards normal people since childhood, after which he wants to form a separate alliance with mutants by destroying human life. Because Eric thinks humans are the enemy of mutants and humans never wish mutants well.

Charles tries to convince him, but Eric does not accept it at all, as a result of which at the end of the movie we see the two friends split into two separate factions. Charles' team is called the X-Men and Eric's team is called the Brotherhood. We will see a continuation of that in the next movies.

    Comment:

With this episode of the X-Men series, we got to see two new heroes, which means we got to see three Super X-Men, including Logan. The thoughts that I have seen in the movie can also be seen to a large extent among the people of our world. Through this episode we get a nice look at the rise of mutants and the formation of two political groups within them. In short, the movie was really good, those of you who haven't seen this episode of the X-Men series, take the time to watch it and let us know what you think in the comments.

I'm back with the next episode of the X-Men series, thanks to you all.

  3. X-Men: First Class (2011) | Movie Review@gonklavez91774d

    Movie Thumbnail.png

The worst thing that a superhero film can do is the origin story. Spider-Man 2 was better because it didn’t spend an hour developing Peter Parker’s ‘I can do what now?’ surprise. Same for The Dark Knight, which cracked away thanks to no time wasted on Bruce’s angsty backpacking years of self-discovery. So what of a movie that focuses on the birth of an organization?

Good things – there’s no lengthy set-up, and the opening quickly clarifies things. A young Xavier is an ale-drinking graduate researching genetics and using his powers to pick up girls. Mystique is a pouty young lady, and Magneto is a tortured Holocaust survivor.

The main plot sees the CIA tracking Kevin Bacon’s ex-Nazi as he tries to start World War 3. When they learn he’s using mutants, they look for an expert, find Charles Xavier, and the X-Men are born.

    image.png

There’s a lot to fit in, but director Matthew Vaughn manages the cast and plot well, balancing comedy, characters, and gravitas nicely. Set-pieces nestle against intimate moments and training montages without ever feeling like a button’s been pushed to change pace.

That said, there’s a leaning towards Magneto. The first meeting between the young mutant and a Third Reich scientist fleshes out his motivations more than anyone else’s while featuring a great turn from Bacon in full pantomime Nazi mode. Once Michael Fassbender takes over as grown-up Mags, it’s his film, as he struggles to ally his friendship with Xavier and his need for retribution.

Most other mutants have to rely on brief, awkward college-style rec-room meetings to develop their personalities. However, the cast’s enthusiasm overcomes the fact that some of their backstories feel like Post-it notes stuck on to the script.

Mystique treads a nice coming-of-age line as a conflicted girl becoming a woman, and Beast gets some attention when he transforms. There’s a focus on being true to yourself, which would feel twee elsewhere, but when ‘yourself’ could mean ‘bright blue,’ it proves an excellent way to highlight the mutants’ struggle for acceptance. It also outlines the split that forms between Xavier and Magneto.

Overall, this manages to have fun while handling its characters’ emotions well. The action’s big, and there’s just the right mix of story and sparkly powers being shown off. The ’60s setting freshens things up, too. There’s a bit of water-treading in the middle, but it’s entertaining throughout and one of the most satisfying super-movies in a while.
