Yesterday a lot of things happened, Genshin Impact version 3.2 update took place, Young Royals season 2 premiered, and the most outstanding of all is that I ate sardines, and right now I'm dying of migraine. I don't know why I thought the premiere of the second season would be today, I swear in my mind it was marked as November 2, so watching the premiere yesterday surprised me too much and I stopped watching what I was watching at that moment to watch all the new episodes of Young Royals, only to end up with a lump in my throat, with tears in my eyes, and looking forward to the confirmation of the third season, but afraid that they will cancel it like many other series. Netflix, I like you, but at the same time, I really dislike you.
Let's do a recap of the first season, we have Wilhelm, a prince of realization, who unexpectedly fell in love with Simon, a normal teenager who studies at the school to which Wilhelm was transferred after he was the protagonist of a public scandal. Their love seems impossible, especially since never and never can a prince admit publicly that he is gay, then some unfortunate being records them having sex, leaks the video, and any possible relationship is destroyed, and the season ends with Simon telling Wilhelm that he is no one's secret, so if he is not going to accept their relationship publicly, there is nothing to bring them together. Ayer sucedieron muchas cosas, tuvo lugar la actualización de la versión 3.2 de Genshin Impact, se estrenó la segunda temporada de Young Royals, y la más destacada de todas es que comí sardinas y justo ahora me estoy muriendo de migraña. Yo no sé por qué pensaba que el estreno de la segunda temporada sería hoy, juro que en mi mente estaba marcado como el 2 de noviembre, así que ver el estreno el día de ayer me sorprendió demasiado y dejé de ver lo que estaba viendo en ese momento para ver todos los nuevos capítulos de Young Royals, solo para terminar con un nudo en la garganta, con lágrimas en los ojos, y con ganas de que ya confirmen la tercera temporada, pero con miedo de que la cancelen como muchas otras series. Netflix, me caes bien, pero a la vez me caes muy mal.
Hagamos una recapitulación de la primera temporada, tenemos a Wilhelm, un príncipe de la realiza, que se enamoró inesperadamente de Simon, un adolescente normal que estudia en la escuela a la que Wilhelm fue transferido después de que fuera el protagonista de un escándalo público. Su amor parece imposible, sobre todo porque jamás y nunca un príncipe puede admitir publicamente que es gay, entonces un ser desgraciado los graba teniendo sexo, filtra el video, y toda posible relación se destrulle, y la temporada termina con Simon diciéndole a Wilhelm que él no es un secreto de nadie, así que si no va a aceptar su relación publicamente, no hay nada que los una. Aquí es donde termino yo llorando hasta no poder respirar de la congestión nasal.

The beginning of this second season is slow, a lot, but it is understandable, several months have passed, Wilhelm and Simon have not spoken, and meeting again is more difficult than we can get to see, we have to know their positions again, and they may have changed or not, I will only say that Marcus arrives, a beautiful guy who tries to make Simon happy, we just have to see if he will succeed or not. Fucking gorgeous series that plays with my heart as it pleases, I dislike them, I love them. For almost half of the second season, I wanted to punch everyone, but then I remembered that they are teenagers, and I wanted to punch them even more, they get to have very unbearable attitudes and postures, what a bummer.
En esta segunda temporada todo va a ser más serio, más intenso, con más consecuencias de las que creemos posibles. Wilhelm tomará venganza contra August, que fue quien filtró el video que grabó de Wilhelm y Simon teniendo sexo, y creanme que August en esta segunda temporada se merece muchas cosas peores de las Wilhelm le hace. Sara, Felice y August tendrán una mayor participación en la historia, conoceremos una nueva faceta de Sara donde ella cree estar haciendo lo correcto, pero como está cegada por lo que ella cree que es amor, la habilidad que ella cree tener conquistada de saber que es lo bueno y qué es lo malo se verá comprometida y le hará daño a más gente de la que puede imaginar.
El inicio de esta segunda temporada es lento, mucho, pero es entendible, han pasado varios meses, Wilhelm y Simon no se han hablado, y el volverse a encontrar es más difícil de lo que podemos llegar a ver, tenemos que conocer sus posiciones de nuevo, pueden haber cambiado o no, solo diré que llega Marcus, un chico precioso que trata de hacer feliz a Simon, solo nos queda ver si lo logrará o no. Pinche serie preciosa que juega con mi corazón como le da la gana, me caen mal, los amo. Durante casi toda la mitad de la segunda temporada quise golpear a todo el mundo, pero entonces recordé que son adolescentes, y quise golpearlos más aún, llegan a tener actitudes y posturas muy insoportables, qué fastidio.

Una de mis cosas favoritas fue el hecho de que la serie se tornó más real, sigue existiendo ese amor adolescente romántico, pero ya no es idealizado, es duro, pero el mundo les recuerda una y otra vez que todas las acciones tienen consecuencias y aunque no se quiera se debe tomar responsabilidades por todo lo que sucede a partir de lo que se hace, esto lo demuestran en dos niveles, primero en el hecho de que aquellos que están en el poder siempre tienen la opción de salirse con la suya sin importar lo que hagan, así que tienen ese pase libre para poder cometer atrocidades y aún así ser libres; en segundo lugar lo demuestran en que no podemos elegir la forma de sentirse de las personas a nuestro actuar, aunque se tengan las mejores intenciones, y se haga todo desde el deseo de que todo salga bien, no podemos negar el hecho de que a veces se hacen cosas malas creyendo que son buenas, y se hieren a las personas, y debemos aceptarlo, y tratar de mejor en la medida de lo posible, no podemos quedarnos en la indignación creyendo que nuestro punto de vista es el correcto y el de los demás es el incorrecto, el mundo no funciona así, y mientras más rápdio aprendamos a escuchar a los demás y actuar en consecuencia, mejores serán las cosas.
The end left me crying, almost screaming, while Wilhelm looks straight into the camera smiling at what he just did, then everything goes black and they play a reinterpreted version of the song The Most Beautiful Boy by The Irrepresibles, I mean, I love The Irrepresibles, and the fact that they put that song at the end killed me, almost literally, it was horrible, I didn't expect it, and it was beautiful, very beautiful, it ended up reflecting perfectly what Wilhelm and Simon were going through, it's not fair that they used such a perfect song for the end, it's horrible, they make me suffer.
I didn't do spoilers, kudos to me, well, if you didn't see the first season I did do a lot of spoilers, but suck it up, this is the second season I'm talking about and I had to do that recap. You will love this second season, it has more romance and more drama than we will ever think, bad people will become worse, good people will be cheated, hurt, and we won't know how to feel about it, we won't, it will be horrible, there are too many dilemmas to deal with, just being able to accept them and that's it, not excusing them, because human nature and feelings are too complex to simplify them and try to make it easy or according to our actions, because even though we may love something, our feelings will tell us something else and it would be an incredible betrayal not to listen to them.
El final a mí me dejó llorando, casi gritando, mientras Wilhelm mira directamente a la cámara sonriendo por lo que acaba de hacer, entonces todo se pone negro y colocan una versión reinterpretada de la canción The Most Beautiful Boy perteneciente a The Irrepresibles, o sea, yo amo con locura a The Irrepresibles, y el hecho de que colocaran esa canción al final me terminó de matar, casi literalmente, fue horrible, no lo esperaba, y fue hermoso, muy hermoso, terminó reflejando perfectamente por todo lo que estaban pasando Wilhelm y Simon, no es justo que usaran una canción así de perfecta para el final, es horrible, me hacen sufrir.
No hice spoilers, me felicito, bueno, si no vieron la primera temporada sí hice muchos spoilers, pero se aguantan, esta es la segunda temporada de la que estoy hablando y tenía que hacer esa recapitulación. Amarán esta segunda temporada, tiene más romance y más drama del que llegaremos a pensar, gente mala se volverá más mala, gente buena será engañada, herida, y no sabremos cómo sentirnos al respecto, no lo haremos, será horrible, hay demasiados dilemas a los que atenerse, solo pudiendo aceptarlos y ya, no excusándolos, pues la naturaleza humana y los sentimientos son demasiado complejos como para simplificarlos y tratar de que sea fácil o acorde nuestro actuar, pues si bien podemos llegar a querer algo, nuestros sentimientos nos dirán otra cosa y sería una traición increíble no escucharlos.
