  1. Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links: Unlocking "The Dark Side of Dimensions"@ahmadmanga2450d

One feature I love from Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Links is that it keeps getting updates and add new worlds from various Yu-Gi-Oh shows. For now it features characters and cards for up to Yu-Gi-Oh 5Ds series.

The most recently added world however, isn't actually a representation of a Yu-Gi-Oh anime series. But a movie. It's a continuation of the original Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters manga!

A new world with Seto Kaiba as a protagonist called "The Dark Side of Dimensions."

    The Pharaoh's Final Duel

The world is unlocked via a special event where you have to duel The Pharaoh/Yami Yugi using Yugi Muto with a special deck. The duel is a re-imagining of the final duel in Yu-Gi-Oh Duel Monsters series where the two Yugi's had to duel to let the Pharaoh's soul finally rest in peace.

I'm not sure if I got lucky but the duel was fairly easy. I got to enjoy leveling up my Silent Swordsman, and didn't need to use the Silent Magician at all.

After the duel the game shows you brief images from the anime detaling the duel. After that, we see an emotional scene between the pharaoh and Yugi considering the former's departure for good.

The pharaoh has to use his name for his soul to find rest. I like how the game didn't spoil it opting for "I'm ----!" instead. His name was a huge plot point in the final season of the anime so I'm happy with how Duel Links approached it.

    The Dark Side of Dimensions

So I haven't watched the movie. (Yet.) But Seto Kaiba looks very cool in this appearance! He is deadly set on revivint the Pharaoh to "set the score!" And I was excited to see where the story is going from that point on.

I played up to Stage 3 and no story, nor new characters so far. Though while the only unlocked character is Kaiba, I found it interesting to compare him to the Kaiba from the original series world.

    Final Thoughts

I'm excited to see how the game catches up with the anime and add Zexal, ARC V and VRains. But for now, I'm happy with all the events that we got.
