Foothills Falls

What are foothills you might ask? Well it is a transitional area between flatter prairies and Mountainous terrain. This is where all the fun begins, saying goodbye to flatness (thinks city areas) and hello to adventure. This fall is certainly not that tall, due to its location in the foothills. The super high ones can mostly be found deep in the mountains; like Takakkaw falls, which is 90 minutes west of here, and also one of western Canada’s tallest falls! Love them falls. It seems the above image is of Elbow Falls

The confusion happens because Elbow Falls is famously located at the exact point where the Alberta Foothills transition into the Rocky Mountains. Because it is a waterfall in the foothills, people often colloquially (but incorrectly) call it "Foothills Falls."

That's a lot of rocky water area and I'm sure it'll be difficult to navigate that with a boat or something, and surely the water doesn't even seem to be deep enough. Great shots
