It’s heartbreaking for the two children to lose both their mom and dad. But in the case of the person who passed away, at least he's no longer in pain. Battling an illness for nine years is definitely not easy. Even when we only experience an ordinary illness that gets better after a few days, we already complain about how we feel. So I can only imagine what it must be like for people battling cancer, going through multiple surgeries, chemotherapy, and, of course, dealing with the impact it can have on their mental health as well.

It is. Seeing them two last night made my heart ache silently.
Their father is incredible. He never complained of pain. Having seen Mom struggle and cry in pain during her battle, I can only imagine how unbearable it might have been for him, but he still showed strength and courage.
