If you think that teaching is your calling, go for it and remain patient. Global learners need your passion and expertise. For as long as you're happy with that profession, there's no reason to quit. I'm indeed a graduate of Education and taught in a private school for four years. But I wasn't happy with teaching, so I left my job and shifted to a different career. I also tried being an ESL teacher after leaving Manila because I want to venture on a permanent work from home set-up. However, I left the job, too. Teaching isn't really my calling. 😅
