Here are a couple quotes from a couple goats that made me pause, ponder, and discuss for #thoughtfuldailypost. Now with added matched music fun.

Being a competitive guy and business person, I had to chew on the notion that a goal is not always meant to be reached for a while. Why set a goal you know you can't reach? Maybe you can stretch and grow while striving to attain it. Perhaps we simply need to know we underestimate ourselves. I am more of a destination guy rather then a journey one myself. Though I love Faithfully, I like crossing that finish line.
I have also come to believe that a victory is simply preparedness met by an opportunity and the will to make it happen. That preparedness would be the benefits of the journey and that really is the victory.
I suppose to strive boldly could be to determinedly chase a goal that you may not reach. Loving what you have to do, not doing what you like to do. A carrot on a stick or a worthwhile endeavor?
Can't mention Journey without playing one of the rockin'est love songs ever written!

Scientific Poetry

Another man who needs no introduction, Albert Einstein is a theoretical physicist and widely regarded as one of the most influential scientists ever. That is some pretty lofty company.
We are slowed-down light waves. That is a pretty heavy and obscure way to start this one. A walking bundle of frequencies tuned into the music of the cosmos. What are the odds Al dabbled in the @davedickeyyall arts a little along his journey of enlightenment?
We are souls dressed up in sacred, biochemical garments. Pretty spiritual for a scientist! Our bodies are the instruments through which our souls play their music. As if it couldn't get more eloquently put in a more artistic and universal words. Nothing I could say to add to this eternal statement and I would think that Albert Einstein is as much a poet as all of those other things.
Let's play some music!
I must admit I picked this song before diving into the last quote but I am pretty sure Al would endorse a little Slowhand and Tracy Chapman.

I invite you to pen your own #thoughtfuldailypost any day of the week and share your insight on the world through your blog.
