When I first started talking about sports—especially soccer—in the “Full Deportes” community, I moved into a section of the house that was an apartment I was renting and settled in as if I were going to stay for a long time, trying to cover the costs of that place with whatever income I could earn as a content creator and so on. But reality always has other plans, and they asked me to rent it out to them, so of course I had to move back to my old spot in the house. It always comes back to that.
Cuando arranqué hablando de deporte, sobre todo del fútbol en la comunidad full deportes, me mudé a un sector de la casa que es un departamento que lo alquilaba y me instalé como para quedarme por mucho tiempo, intentando suplir los gastos de ese lugar con los ingresos que pudiera tener como creador de contenidos y demás. Pero la realidad siempre te indica otra cosa, y me pidieron para que se lo alquile y por supuesto me tuve que mudar a mi viejo lugar en la casa. Siempre se vuelve...
I want to say that my stay at the apartment was incredible. I think that, as a content creator, these past few months have been the most productive I’ve had in a long time. From being able to watch sports in peace so I could analyze them, to meditating early in the morning, to focusing more on my projects away from the everyday noise of the house and a myriad of little details—all of which make me want to return there. At some point, I’m going to find a spot in the house where I can set up my own space—above all, a place where I can expand or enhance my creative work. I feel that while one may have talent, focus and serenity are essential when it comes to putting that talent to work. You probably know—or have experienced this yourselves—that sometimes the noises at home, the daily bickering of our kids, the dog, the cat… It’s all very nice, but it does make you feel a little stressed. But here we are, unafraid of success, continuing to create.
Quiero decir que mi estadía en el departamento fue increíble. Creo que como creador de contenido fue en estos últimos meses, los más productivos que tuve en los últimos tiempos. Desde poder ver deporte tranquilo para poder analizarlo, meditar por las mañanas bien temprano, enfocarme más en mis proyectos alejado de los ruidos cotidianos de la casa y un sinfín de pormenores, que hacen que quiera volver al lugar. En algún momento voy a buscar un lugar en la casa, donde puede armar mi lugar sobre todo un espacio donde pueda aumentar o fortalecer mis creaciones. Siento que uno tiene talento, pero el enfoque y la serenidad a la hora de trabajarlo son necesarios. Ustedes seguramente saben o les pasa, que en ocasiones los ruidos de la casa, los dime si diretes cotidianos de nuestros hijos, que la cocina el perro el gato.... Todo es muy bonito pero hacen que uno se estrese un poquito. Pero acá estamos y sin miedo al éxito a seguir creando contenidos...
Changing the subject completely and talking about what’s going to happen this weekend—regarding a new race on my iron horse—which has to do with rural cycling. The last race didn’t leave a good taste in my mouth, and as they always say—and it’s truly the case—in sports, you always get a rematch. At Marcos Paz, I’ll be racing alone, and personally, that’s a huge advantage for me. It’s much easier for me to manage my feelings and emotions that way than when I’m racing as part of a team. Of course, we’re taking care of our diet and rest so we can perform at our best… It’s so nice to compete every now and then in the sport you love to practice every day… I highly recommend it.
Cambiando rotundamente de tema y hablando de lo que sucederá este fin de semana, con respecto a una nueva presentación, arriba de mi caballito de hierro, qué tiene que ver con el ciclismo rural. La cuarteta no dejó un buen sabor y como siempre se dice y es así verdaderamente, en el deporte siempre tenés revancha. El Marcos Paz voy a correr solo y eso en lo particular es una gran ventaja para mí. Porque manejar mis sensaciones y emociones me es mucho más fácil, que hacerlo cuando vas en equipo. Por supuesto nos estamos cuidando con la comida y el descanso para entregarlo mejor... Qué lindo que es competir de vez en cuando en la disciplina deportiva que te gusta practicar la cotidianamente... Os recomiendo.
Last but not least... Earlier this week, I shared a post by my neighbor Isabel, the seamstress. In it, she described the fire that broke out at her home. She’s doing very well, along with her husband, her daughters, and—above all, as she says—her pets. She has some little dogs at home that are really cute, and you can tell how much she loves them. The house is still standing, but absolutely everything inside was destroyed. The city stepped in and has already provided her with all the necessary documents for the entire family, as well as logistical support to clean up the house using the city’s machinery and tools. They’ve been cleaning up these past few days, and the renovation of the house is surely on the horizon. It’s incredible how people came forward to donate clothes, some household items, and above all, to offer her support and lots of love.

Por último y no menos importante... En la semana hice una publicación de mi vecina Isabel, la costurera. Donde contaba el incendio que sucedió en su domicilio. Ella está muy bien junto a su esposo, sus hijas y sobre todo según ella, sus mascotas. Tiene unos perritos en la casa que son realmente muy bonitos y se nota el cariño que ella le tiene. La casa quedó en pie pero destruida absolutamente todo en su interior. El municipio se hizo presente y ya le suministraron todos los documentos para toda la familia y además del apoyo logístico para limpiar la casa, con las máquinas y herramientas que cuenta el municipio. En estos días estuvieron limpiando y seguramente se viene el reacondicionamiento de la casa. Increíble la gente cómo se acercó a donarle ropa, algunos artefactos para la casa y sobre todo, brindarle acompañamiento y mucho amor.
