There is a popular saying about success. Success is only celebrated and acknowledged when it's done and actualized, publicly recognized as a done deal and ready-soup but the process before it gets done are never seen or celebrated and that's why the saying goes thus that success is for all while the process is for the owner alone.
This statement alone says it all with no confusion or helter skelter debates, the reason why the journey of success mostly feels lonely and unless such person is determined and focus, the change in the attention or love they received before embarking on the journey might make them withdraw, thinking it's actually not the right path to take truly.
Not many people believes in another person's dream and vision unless it's fulfilled before they get to accept that the vision is really valid. Talk about people who desired to build up a business, a startup for humanity, furthering in academics and all. So many discouragements may come, all coming like real facts or do we say a young man who is still struggling to eat 3 square meals a day but talking about going for his masters and PhD program.
Not many people would believe in such person's process because of the many challenges and conditions surrounding the situation until the degree certificate is gotten with the convocation picture, then everyone resumes the office of posting and resharing with captions occupying the post like there was once an encouragement from them to the graduand.
That is exactly how success is. You work alone trying to achieve success in whatever you aim to do, but the celebration or even the rewards after success does not end with you alone. It becomes a thing for everyone who once believed in you or not to feel attached to.
So, no matter how lonely it may be, the key factor of succeeding is staying focused, determined and decisive because no matter how lonely the journey may be, there's always light at the end of the tunnel.
