Hello, Freewriters community! I'm Aiman khan , and this is my first time sharing my work here, so I wanted to properly introduce myself before diving into my writing.
I've been part of Hive for about two months now, and someone recently told me about this community that it's a space built genuinely for writers, where people support and uplift each other's work. That's exactly the kind of community I've been hoping to find, so here I am. ☺️
A little about me: I'm 19 years old, and I write in both Urdu and English, though Urdu is my mother tongue and English is a language I'm still actively working on improving so please bear with me as I grow. I'm a freelance writer, early in my journey, and I go by the pen name “ Aiman khan or aimankwrites.”
As for what I write I don't limit myself to just one genre. My writing moves between motivational articles, short stories, short novels, social media scripts, and blog content, depending on what I'm feeling or what story needs to be told. Some days I write to inspire; other days, I write fiction rooted in real emotion unrequited love, quiet grief, self-worth, resilience, and the kind of truths people don't always say out loud. I believe writing should make a reader stop, feel something, and remember it, not just read it and move on. 😌
My style leans emotional and reflective I write a lot about personal growth, choosing yourself, inner strength, and the lessons life teaches us when we're forced to face them alone. I'm also currently working on my first full-length book of reality-based story carrying a message of islaah (reform) which has been one of the most meaningful projects of my life so far.
As a person, I'd describe myself as someone who values authenticity above everything. I don't believe in writing just to please an audience; I write what's real, even when it's uncomfortable. I'm still learning, still growing, and genuinely open to feedback good or constructive because that's how I know I'm improving.
Joining Freewriters feels like an important step in my journey as a writer.
