Is life truly meant to be easy, or is accepting hardship simply the nature of things? This question often crossed my mind and kept me troubled for a long time. It was during a phase when I was tangled up in these very puzzles what is the true purpose of life? Is it simply to be religious, or does it also require having humanity alongside it? And even after doing all of that, when I still didn't receive what I felt I deserved, I wondered what does living even mean?
Life, I eventually understood, is nothing but these very challenges. And once I truly grasped that, it didn't take long for things to shift. Where people once mocked me for achieving things at a young age, I started seeing those very words as compliments instead. Where my own blood relations claimed closeness to me, I made sure never to make the mistake of placing my expectations on them. And whenever the hardest tasks came my way, instead of sharing the burden with others, I isolated myself completely, focused solely on the problem at hand, and found the solution on my own.
That's when it became clear this is exactly what life is. We are fighting a war to win against life itself. And the day we win that war is the very day life will defeat us the day the thread connecting us to this world will be cut, and we will bid this world farewell.
So, for as long as you can, give it everything you have. Prove yourself. Learn, understand, and keep moving forward and show it through your actions. If people say you're different, prove that difference. Build your own identity, and let the world come to know you through your own effort because this is your war, your competition is only with yourself, and before you take your final leave from this life, you must win it.
