Grace is God’s undeserving favour, His divine help at work in our weakness: “When we were utterly helpless, with no way of escape, Christ came at just the right time and died for us sinners… But God showed his great love for us by sending Christ to die for us while we were still sinners” [Romans 5: 6 – 8 TLB].
The message of grace can rightly be translated as “Divine Enablement.” Just as the Lord proclaimed through the prophet Zechariah:
Zechariah 4: 6 – 7 “Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit,” says the Lord of hosts.
Through this enablement we are empowered to live our lives the best way which does not only benefit us and the people around us but also glorifies God in heaven.
