Hi Hivers!
I’m back with a new collage for this month’s LMAC prompt, initiated by @agmoore. Thanks to agmoore for coming up with a new prompt and giving us another chance to play around with our imagination.
This time, I didn’t want to make anything too heavy or complicated. I had a simple idea in mind, what if I could see the world from the perspective of tiny red ants? Have you ever watched A Bug’s Life or played Grounded? I love how ordinary things can suddenly look enormous when you see them through the eyes of a tiny creature. A patch of grass becomes a forest, a soda can turns into a giant building, and a passing bird might look like some kind of monster ready to swoop down on you.
That’s the kind of feeling I wanted to capture in this collage. I imagined myself standing among those little red ants, or being one of them looking up at two enormous pigeons towering above us. There’s something funny and a little strange about seeing the world this way. Everything we’re used to suddenly feels so different, just because we’re looking at it from another perspective.
I didn’t have any big message in mind for this piece. I just wanted to have some fun with scale, perspective, and a little bit of imagination. It was fun to think about how a creature as small as an ant might see the world we take for granted every day.
I hope you enjoy this collage! And if you're joining this month's LMAC prompt too, feel free to share your work with the community. I'm always curious to see the different worlds everyone comes up with.
Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to look at my work.
