I still have in my Splinterlands account no less that 550 Chaos Legion packs. As it passed for about a week since my last openings, I've decided to go back for more and open another batch of 50x Chaos Legion packs. The idea is to keep this pace of weekly draws that should get me to deplete all my packs in 10 weeks. What does it mean? It means that by the end of the year I will finish this adrenaline journey of opening packs while hoping for some Legendary cards and even some Gold Legendary. I haven't got the chance to draw yet a Gold Legendary Foil since I've started opening over 700 packs, but I think there is still time for that to happen. Will it happen today? Well, let's go and open them and maybe luck strikes me.
Without any other preview, I will move with the packs opening and revealing the cards that I've got from them. I am still yet to know all the cards from the Chaos Legion, but until the end I am sure I will become a connoisseur of it. So let's go!
Draw 1
The first draw starter rather slow, but than I've started to see some Common Gold Foils (Riftwing, Goblin Tower and Lava Spider), an Epic card (Etherite Construct) and in the end... a Legendary card (Spirit Hoarder). It was a balanced draw and I think I've got some good cards out of it. I was hoping to see at least one more Legendary, but maybe that's waiting for me in the next batch.
Draw 2
The second draw got me another Legendary foil (Carnage Titan - good one, I use it often in my formation), few Common Gold cards (Stitch Leech, Blinding Reflector and Xenith Monk) and two Epic cards worth mentioning (Grund and Forgotten One). This time I also got three Archons (Obsidian) with tops up the draw and makes it much better than the first one. Let's see if we can continue the good momentum.
Draw 3
The third draw started with excitement as I got a Legendary Foil from the beginning (Desert Dragon), it continued with another one (Adelade Brightwing) and it concluded even with a Legendary Archon (Possibilus The Wise). On top of this I got also three Rare Archons (Thaddius Brood), an Epic card (Djinn Inferni) and also a Common Gold card (Supply Runner). It was a great hand and it will be hard to beat going further. But let's try. 😉
Draw 4
The forth draw slowed down quite a bit, but I still spotted some good cards. First was the fact that I got a Gold Archon (General Sloan) together with three rare Archons (Tarsa). Beside Archons, some other good units where of Epic type (Magi Necrosi, Wave Brood and Prismologist). The number of Archons saved this hand and there is still one more to unveil. Let's see it!
Draw 5
The last draw started quite weak and when I was about to lose all hope, I got a Legendary Archon that made up for it: Grandmaster Rathe. Besides this I can mention two other cards of type Epic which gave me a better feeling about this hand: Insidious Warlock and Acid Shooter. Not a bad draw after all.
And with this I have finished opening another batch of 50x Chaos Legion packs. I am still hunting a Legendary Gold Foil, but while that is still to be unveiled I am gathering a bunch of Gold cards, Epic ones and few Legendaries. My next move will be to review my collection and see when I can level up the Chaos Legion cards. In the end I hope to get them at high enough levels and with some shopping spree from the market to get the maxed out. Even if Chaos Legion might not be the strongest assets in Splinterlands, in the end I think I can build some strong armies out of them. And if they will not be invincible all alone, I will be able to play them anytime alongside other editions.
