No offline access to previous ChatGPT conversations makes my travel boring

A thing that I dislike about ChatGPT when accessed in the browser (and maybe other chat bots as well), is the fact that when I am transitioning from online to offline, the last session is not preserved and rather a black page without any content is displayed instead. Other websites don't do that as probably the information once feed in online mode remains there. But with ChatGPT I assume that when re-entering the page it tries to do a refresh from the server, it sees that it has no connection and it just displays a black page. This might seem trivial or not important to many, but as I travel quite a lot and most flights don't have Internet, I simply cannot review my last session where I am usually seeding ideas or other information. And that leaves me with no way to get that.

I believe there are technical solutions to this lime caching locally at least last or part of the last active session instead of inquiring the server each time. Also while online I feel that when in a session it tries to feed all of it, instead of some sort of lazy loading. I don't know about you, but whenever I navigate through different sessions it takes so e good seconds to get the data. And this chips into its usability as the "freezing" effect even for a short period of time is not good user experience.

I understand the focus us on AI models which are running in the backend, but I wish they give a lot more attention to fronted as well. It feels clumsy sometimes and in a time where speed rules everything (even our lives), waiting and looking as a false positive freezing effect is just not according to the standards. Bot that there are such as today's AI implementations overlook a lot of things. Maybe these will become common at some point, but we are not there yet.

I know this is not important or have limited use case (1% or less), but I would find useful to have the last ChatGPT session when I am on the road a d without any Internet. But as I faced this issue while flying, though of sharing this with you as well. And in the same I am writing this on a Notes app on my phone as neither of the UI apps from the Hive blockchain don't have an offline Draft functionality. Wrote about that as well as a suggestion for PeakD, but no movement on it. I guess I will continue with my offline routine like this while I see no alternatives yet.

Yes sometimes I also feel like this, I use it for a lot of work and sometimes most of the time I use it for image generation and if the chat is loaded with lot of earlier chats then it takes a lot of time to load maybe sometimes the internet issue but sometimes it takes too much time and it's not good as you have mentioned.

It feels very sad when we don't have any internet connection and it is not good at all. I also use offline notes and that is very handy for me I used to draft my post on that but now most of the time I use peakd for that. It is kind of handi because sometimes if you don't have access to your laptop or PC then you can draft your post on mobile and later you can edit or format it in your PC your laptop.

I hope there will be some offline features as well as you have mention it would be great because if sometimes there is no internet it feels bit awkward.
