Today, I’m sharing my visit to the waterfront promenade and lookout located behind the Hernán Marín Amphitheater—part of the city’s coastal strip—specifically along the artificial breakwater made of large rocks situated behind the Marina Plaza shopping center. This extensive coastal area features various spaces dedicated to recreation and leisure; the breakwater itself is a popular rocky path for watching the sunset and taking in the beautiful scenery of Cacique Maraguey Avenue and the spectacular beach views.
From this spot, you can see the city buildings and a panoramic view of the beach. We had long wanted to explore this area and walk all the way to the far end, so we planned an outing during my son's vacation and set off in the afternoon. When we arrived, there were many people walking and sitting on the seawall; we moved forward and positioned ourselves in the middle, where we could admire the spectacular beach views and enjoy the cool breeze. As we walked along the path, we felt the fresh air and took in the beautiful sunset landscape, with the clouds showing shades of white and gray and the sun's rays barely visible.

**Saludos amigos viajeros deseo que tengan un excelente día, en esta ocasión les comparto mi visita al Bulevar - mirador, ubicado detrás de la anfiteatro Hernán Marín en la llamada cinta costera de la ciudad, un rompeolas artificial formado por grandes rocas en la parte posterior del centro comercial Marina plaza, en la extensa franja de la cinta costera se ubican diferentes espacios destinados a la recreación y esparcimiento, el rompeolas es un sendero de rocas muy concurrido para observar el atardecer, los hermosos paisajes de la avenida Cacique Maraguey y las espectaculares vistas de la playa.
Desde ese punto se observan los edificios y una vista panorámica de la playa, desde hace tiempo queríamos conocer esta zona y hacer un recorrido hasta la parte final, planificamos una salida aprovechando que mi hijo está de vacaciones y emprendimos nuestro viaje en horas de la tarde, al llegar habían muchas personas haciendo caminatas y sentadas en el muro, avanzamos y nos ubicamos en el centro, desde allí pudimos ver las espectaculares vistas de la playa, disfrutar la fresca brisa, además una caminata por el sendero, a medida que avanzábamos podíamos sentir la fresca brisa y observar el hermoso paisaje al atardecer, las nubes tenían los colores blanco y gris y apenas se observaban los rayos del sol.
After walking a few meters along the breakwater walkway, we sat down near a plant; the views from there are spectacular, offering a sight of the perimeter avenue, various buildings, and the sea—which forms a sort of bay. This was one of my favorite photos because it combines the wall, the buildings in the distance, and the sea to one side. Moving toward the end of the walkway, there is a mound of sand and a partial view of the buildings on the perimeter avenue, followed by a panoramic view of the back of the Marina Plaza shopping center, the pier, and several yachts moored there, as well as a side view of the beach and the Marina Plaza complex.
Next came an incredible view of the beach and the buildings along the perimeter avenue; true to its name, the lookout point is excellently situated, offering spectacular scenery—especially the view of the avenue and the beach. As the afternoon wore on, more people gathered at the wall to watch the sunset and take their own photos.

As evening fell, we moved on to another spot where we could see a stone walkway along the Marina Plaza pier and a boat moored beside it; the photograph captures the way the sunlight hit the scene. From there, we went down to the water's edge—the views here were lovely, too. We took a picture of a plant growing on the wall; I don't know its name—in fact, it was the first time I’d ever seen one like it. From the shoreline, there were also beautiful views of Cacique Maraguey Avenue, part of the Hernán Marín Theater, its famous heart-shaped swing, and the walkway made of large, strategically placed stones. Finally, I took several photos of the perimeter road, capturing the buildings, the shoreline, and the beautiful sunset with its white, blue, and gray clouds. It was a delightful walk that allowed us to explore the breakwater and take in the stunning scenery from this part of the city.
Con la caída de la tarde avanzamos hacia otro punto, desde el cual pudimos ver una caminería de rocas en el muelle de Marina plaza y un barco estacionado al lado de él, en la fotografía se observa la incidencia de los rayos solares, desde allí bajamos hasta la orilla de la playa, las vistas aquí son muy bonitas también, le tomamos fotografía a la planta ubicada en el muro, desconozco su nombre y de hecho es la primera vez que veo esta planta; desde la orilla de la playa también se aprecian hermosas vistas de la avenida Cacique Maraguey, parte del teatro Hernan Marín, su famoso columpio de corazón y la caminería que está formada por varias rocas de gran tamaño y estratégicamente ubicadas, para finalizar tomé varias fotos de la avenida perimetral, en las cuales se aprecian los edificios, la orilla de la playa y el hermoso atardecer con las nubes blanco, azul y gris, fue una linda caminata que nos permitió explorar el rompeolas y ver los hermosos paisajes desde este punto de la ciudad.
