Hello, internet folk. Today I’m going to write a short post, but I’m still really happy to be doing it because I’ve finally got a new microphone!
Hola, gente de Internet. Hoy haré un post breve pero aun asi lo hago muy feliz porque al fin tengo un microfono nuevo!
To begin with, I had (and still have) a wired microphone – a cable that was a kilometre long, which had exquisite sound quality. It worked really well for recording indoors, but recording outdoors was an absolute nightmare, so I decided to buy a wireless one from a shop called V.I.P Digital... Don’t even think about buying anything there – they don’t offer a guarantee, claiming you can test the devices in-store, and I fell for it hook, line and sinker. The thing is, with this sort of gadget, you need more time than that to work out whether it’s any good or not. It might claim to have two hours’ battery life but end up only working for half an hour, and you’re not going to spend half an hour testing it.
En primer lugar tuve (y aun lo conservo) un microfono de cable, un cable kilométrico que tenia una calidad de sonido exquisita y para grabar en interiores me veía muy bien pero grabar en exteriores era sumamente fastidioso, por lo que opté por comprar uno inalambrico en una tienda llamada V.I.P Digital... ni se les ocurra comprar nada ahí,no ofrecen garantía con el cuento deque puedes probar los aparatos ahí, y caí redontita. La cosa es, que para este tipo de gadgets necesitas más tiempo que eso para saber si el apartado esta bueno o no, puede que te ofrezca dos horas de autonomía y termine solo funcionando media hora y tipo que no vas a estar media hora probando.
Anyway, I took them home and then realised that the audio was awful – muddy – and started off at a good volume but then went up and down on its own as the clip played, which meant I had to split the videos up and keep adjusting the volume to keep it at the same level, or as close as possible (if you’re wondering about the cable one, it doesn’t work anymore), so I’ve been planning to buy them from Amazon this time, asking a cousin to do me a favour and send them to me via my uncle, who was coming back to the country
En fin, los llevé a casa y luego me di cuenta que el audio era horrible, sucio y empezaba con un buen nivel y luego bajaba o subia solo a medida que el clip avanzaba, lo que me obligaba a fraccionar los videos y subir y bajar el volumen para dejarlo al mismo nivel o lo más parecido posible (si se preguntan por el de cable, no punciona ya) asi que estuve planeando comprar esta vez por amazon, pedirle a una prima que me hiciera el favor y que me los mandara con mi tío que iba a regresar al país
It’s finally arrived and I couldn’t be more excited – not only is it prettier, but it fits my new mobile like a glove, as the previous ones had that ‘stick’ port and my phone doesn’t have that hole; the new microphone has a Type-C port, and it also comes with a magnet so I can attach it to any item of clothing, even a T-shirt.
Por fin llegó y nopude estar más emocionada, no solo es más bonito sinoque se adapta a mi nuevo cel como anillo al dedo ya que los anteriores eran de este puerto de "palito" y mi teléfono no tiene este orificio, el nuevo micrófono tiene el receptor con puerto tipo C, además viene con imán asi que me lo puedo poder en la ropa que sea, asi sea una camiseta
I loved the case; inside, it has several compartments for carrying all the parts neatly and conveniently. It comes with a cable for recording with a camera, the charging cable, the charging dock, the receiver and the microphone.
Amé el estuche, por dentro tiene varios compartimentos para llevar todas las piezas de forma ordenada y comoda. Tiene un cable para grabar con cámara, el de carga, la base para cargar, el receptor y el microfono
Best of all, I used to have to use Open Camera to record (it’s an app), but this microphone is compatible with my phone’s camera, so it’s even more convenient. I’m really excited to start recording as soon as possible for my YouTube channel – which I’ve reactivated – and to try it out on a long recording.
Lo mejor de todo es que antes debia usa open camara para grabar (es una app) pero este micrófono es compatible con la cámara de mi teléfono asi que esto resulta aun más cómodo. Estoy muy entuciasmada por grabar lo más pronto posible para mi canal de youtube que volvi a activar y probarlo en una grabación larga
