Hoy quiero hacer una reflexión y es que desde hace unos días atrás me ha venido asaltando la idea de lo que significa la palabra lealtad y es que esta palabra habla de gratitud, fidelidad, constancia, permanencia, cariño entre otras emociones y sentimientos; esta palabra que nos habla de una virtud entre otras cosas y que es aplicable para algunas personas en todos los ámbitos de sus vidas; porque podemos tener lealtad a la familia a los amigos, pero incluso podemos ser leales hasta en nuestros gustos personales, por ejemplo yo le tengo una lealtad casi adictiva a mi café de todas las mañanas, en ocasiones me han ofrecido alguna otra bebida en las mañanas y a menos de que este enferma y lo requiera no dejo de tomar mi acostumbrado café.

Y así como tengo lealtad para estas pequeñas cosas, también lo tengo para aquellas cosas que me han brindado en su momento, aprendizaje, apoyo y estabilidad emocional, económica, como cuando entre acá a #Hive que en un inicio fue por curiosidad y por lo que me ofrecía, poder escribir y compartir, y es que todos vamos creando vínculos con las personas, animales y cosas, pero pocos sabemos conservar y brindar esta bella palabra, llamada lealtad y es que viendo el panorama en que nos hemos ido manejando en nuestro querido #Hive en estos últimos tiempos; debo decir que aunque no ha sido fácil ni sencillo por todas las peripecias que hemos tenido que afrontar para publicar, sobretodo las personas que están en Cuba como mi estimado @tonyes entre otros tantos hivers mas.

También hablemos de los hivers de Venezuela, quienes estando enfrentando diversas dificultades seguimos constantes y fieles ha esta bella plataforma y así como nosotros muchos mas quienes siguen latentes en las diferentes comunidades, sin dejar de crear, motivar, manteniendo con alegría y ayudando a respirar a muchos pececitos en este lindo mar. Llevándome a esta reflexión y pensamientos que quiero compartir con ustedes, quizás este sea uno de los post mas personales que he hecho y quiero decirles que si de mi dependiera premiaría esa fidelidad de quienes ponemos nuestro granito de arena en este lugar lleno de creatividad, sueños y de sostén emocional para muchos y me anoto en eso.

Sé que para muchos no tiene mucha explicación el porqué seguimos nadando por estas aguas y no hay otra palabra que lo describa mejor y es la lealtad que le tenemos a nuestro querido #Hive. Today I want to share a reflection: for the past few days, I’ve been thinking a lot about what the word “loyalty” means. This word conveys gratitude, fidelity, steadfastness, permanence, and affection, among other emotions and feelings; it speaks to a virtue, among other things, and applies to some people in every aspect of their lives; because we can be loyal to family and friends, but we can even be loyal to our personal preferences. For example, I have an almost addictive loyalty to my morning coffee; sometimes I’ve been offered another drink in the morning, and unless I’m sick and need it, I don’t skip my usual coffee.

And just as I am loyal to these small things, I am also loyal to those things that have provided me, at one time or another, with learning, support, and emotional and financial stability—like when I joined #Hive, which was initially out of curiosity and because of what it offered me: the ability to write and share. The fact is, we all form bonds with people, animals, and things, but few of us know how to preserve and offer this beautiful concept called loyalty. And looking at the situation we’ve been navigating in our beloved #Hive lately, I must say that although it hasn’t been easy or straightforward—given all the challenges we’ve had to face to publish, especially those in Cuba like my dear friend @tonyes, among so many other Hivers—

Let’s also talk about the Hivers in Venezuela, who—despite facing various difficulties—remain steadfast and loyal to this wonderful platform. And just like us, there are many others who remain active in the different communities, continuing to create, motivate, and bring joy, while helping many little fish breathe in this beautiful sea. These reflections and thoughts lead me to share this with you—perhaps this is one of the most personal posts I’ve ever written. I want to tell you that if it were up to me, I’d reward the loyalty of those of us who do our small part in this place full of creativity, dreams, and emotional support for so many—and I count myself among them.

I know that for many, there’s no real explanation for why we keep swimming in these waters, and there’s no other word that describes it better than the loyalty we have for our beloved #Hive.
