After waiting about a week and a half, I finally received the Mega Zygarde EX bundle packs I ordered from Target. Shipping was free, so after tax they're barely more than MSRP, which is good. These days it's hard to find any packs under $7, which is sad.
I got to opening up the packs. I got some good cards, but then I came to these two cards.
I get that they're a "Special Energy" card and have an effect to them, but who cares? That's lame. They could be the most overpowered in the game and from a collector's point of view they are lame. You might as well have made the promo code card holographic while you're at it. That's about the only way you could make it more lame.
The only upside to these two is I now have two sacrificial cards to use as I continue to hone my card restoration skills. It's barely a silver lining, but I guess I'll take it.
