I really liked how Friday played out with a narrow 0-1 win for Club Brugge, going for the right high option instead of the too high handicap. I won around 0.35 units on that match and hope to continue building on Saturday in Sunday with more matches and more betting action.

Charleroi vs Union SG

Charleroi is sitting on top of the table with 12 on 12 and have played quite good. However, they had a super easy schedule against Kortrijk, Mechelen, OHL, & Lommel so those teams are no reference whatsoever. Their form also feels like it's in decline with their worst match so far last week taking a flattering win over Kortrijk that looked bigger than it was in reality. Union is pretty much on the other end where they didn't have the most convincing start of the season but they have grown and fully look back with a growing from and solid performances against Anderlecht & away against Stvv. So I'm expecting this to be a match for Charleroi similar to the one of Anderlecht against Union where it merely shows that the good form they had came mostly from the poor opponents they played. At the same time, the match still needs to be played, and it's always possible that the winning streak gives the kind of confidence that makes them overperform. Overall though I really like the line and the odds and took 0.3 units on Union -0.25 @ 1.922. I took this last night sharing it on the discord with the option to take more but by now the odds came down quite a bit. I don't expect a wide open start of the match but more a slow study round from both teams. For now, I will keep it at this but I hope to get in more in-game.

Mechelen vs Westerlo

Based on the score that I give on each match, these 2 teams are at the botton of the ranking at just 6.1 & 5.90. However, Westerlo already played 2 tip teams and had one away match where they where absolutely nowere and got a 4.6 overall score. Last week, they showed a reaction with a better match against Zulte-Wagegem taking a fair draw as the Underdog. There was some kind of leak after the 4-0 loss against lommel of bad mentality which kind of helped to put them sharp. It's still had to trust them though. Mechelen is in a similar situatio where it just was plain bad in the first 3 matches while there was a glimps of improvement in their last match against La Louvuere which ended in a 2-2 draw. The main issue with boh these teams is that they are not the most secure in the defense so in that regard it can be expected that there will be goals. Given their standings, the fear to lose might be a big bigger than the will to win which often happens in matches like this. I see a draw as a result both might be willing to settle for. So I took a rather cautious 0.25 units on Westerlo +0.5 @ 1.872 which covers the draw in a match that I see potentially super close. I'm also leaning toward the over and toward Westerlo on the +1 corners handicap. I however will wait for those in-game as I would not be surprised for Mechelen to try and push early. Betting somehow on the team who falls behind also might be an option here as I see both crawl back in case they take the lead.

Standard vs Antwerp

I was looking to back Standard on this one mainly because Antwerp overperformed in the first 2 matches but at times looked horrible and nowhere in defense. However, Antwerp made a really good transfer with Vermeeren which makes me cautious. Standard so far this season has looked quite good but at the same time they kind of failed to capitalize on what was an easy start even though they have not yet lost a match. Today, the home advantage should be there. My notes show that last match after taking the lead, Standard was all defense and a draw would have been fair instead of a 1-2 win as Standard were very efficient on theor chances. I put them as a team to win by 1 goal and under away after taking the lead. I still think at this point that Antwerp is less ready compared to Standard as their defense has shown to be too bad at times. The home advantage should also be a thing and I took a super cautious bet of 0.1 units on Standard -0.25 @ 1.849 & I'm looking at Standard corners for the 1st half along with a possible over bet. This one has the potential for a lot of in-game betting volume.

Sint-Truiden vs La Louviere

Stvv played a mid-week match losing deserved with a 0-3 score against Union and this might be the moment that the fact that they qualified for Europe having a negative influence on the league results might kick in. They had now a mid-week match and players might have their mind on the European game already. However, their coach also benched quite some A-Squad players in the mid week kind of giving up that match with an eye on this one today. La Louviere so far went to Anderlecht playing for a 0-0 draw but ended with a loss and 10-1 in corners, They came out at home willing to go forward and took the lead but lost with 1-2 at the end in a match where a draw would have been fair if it wasn't for their goalkeeper who gave it away. In Standard, they did not crawl back but they took a stupid red card early which screwed them. At home against Mechelen, it was another fun start of the match and it ended in a 2-2 score against Mechelen who showed signs of improbement and could have won. Stvv showed so far at times vulnerable in the defense while La Louviere tends to be able to score a goal and showed that they are willing to play forward. I took 0.23 units on Both To Score @ 1.872
