This is a weekly overview of my personal sports betting/trading results on teams from the Belgian Jupiler League, documenting my journey toward long-term profit with some insights on my overall approach.
It looks like things are turning around with a nice green week of +1.4 Units and it wa sonly a matter of time. I'm pretty much going about my way putting in the work as I have been doing for so many years and it still remains a ton of fun. Despite still being down a coupld of units on the season, I'm quite confident that I'm still having an edge even though I'm also quite realistic putting it somewhere around the 1-4% range since the market really is quite sharp and small edges is where it needs to come from.
Pre-Game Preview Bets Season 2026-2027
I did have 1 main highlighted bet in Week 5 on the Under 2.75 in Cercle Brugge vs AA Gent @ 1.942 odds which closed a lot lower (again) around 1.78 odds and the match picture pretty much looked like it was a lock. That was until there was an own goal out of nowhere, a very cheap penalty and a very late counter goal. I did reduce my risk along the way and went from 0.3 units profit to break even on that last goal.

2026-2027 Season Chart
While the chart is still in the red, I do like the fact that I managed to get in 6.766 units staked on the week which is close to the 8-10 that I aim for. I'm also not really holding back on my stakes that much because I'm down, and will just continue like this one bet at a time grinding my way hopefully to the expected pink profit line or higher. Time really flies though and there have already been 5 full weeks. That also means there are 29 more to go and soon the European football leagues will start again. So plenty of action and betting volume ahead.
