A tiny insects and ants perched on black net — Photography

It's refreshing when it rains in the early morning because the air turns cool, and fortunately, the weather warms up again later in the day. My husband decided to clear away the tall grass around our place because the mosquito population is growing especially now that it's the rainy season and the tall grass is one of the things contributing to their increase.

So, my son and I went over to where he was, near the netting of our ducks, and I noticed some insects perched on the black net. While my son was watching his father, I decided to take some photos, for today's topic, nyehee!

The first thing I spotted was this small, red insect on the black netting.

And I found another leaf beetle on the black netting. It's a different color from the previous one, this one is entirely orange but it's so tiny. I think this is the same kind that has a glowing rear end at night, looking just like Christmas lights. It's quite a sight when there are many of them on a tree, haha. Well, if I'm not mistaken. 😁

They keep scurrying back and forth, I couldn't capture them all in photos because the images turned out blurry—some of them move really fast!

Almost every tree in our area has been taken over by red ants even my clothesline! Their bites are quite painful in fact, my son is terrified of them because he once got bitten after wandering near a tree that was swarming with these ants. Haha

A cute, folded pink wildflower.

There was also a brown insect perched nearby; I waited for it to turn towards me, but it flew off without ever doing so—haha, lol.

I also found a large fly with big eyes, one of the biggest flies I've ever seen. quite different from the small, common houseflies that usually fly around homes.

Grass or a wildflower. It might be just about to bloom, or perhaps it's already finished; I'm not sure.

Some grass or weeds have started climbing up our mesh fence. They look incredibly healthy, thanks to the rich soil here and the frequent rain.

It's funny how weeds like these grow so fast, even without any care at all haha, lolol.

I can say that nature is genuinely amazing because sometimes the things we ignore become breathtaking to look at,or even a source of inspiration, showing that, just like humans, insects and plants struggle daily to survive.

That's all for today. I just want to say Thank you for your unwavering support of my post, I really really appreciate it. ✨🤍
