Today, I had a random activities I did here in our house and it was very common but very proud to shared the daily life I have here. I born in Poor family, where no expensive things and materials used. Only simple things we have here including the things we used at the kitchen and even at the house. Today, as I waked up early in the morning I straightly went to our Dirty kitchen to do my morning tasks just like Boiling water for a hot of coffee, cooking rice and viand for our breakfast. Here in this simple kitchen we have, I always prepared food for our meals. First I swept away lots of ash from the burning firewoods last day before cooking the food.
Firewoods is one of the important things we used here specially by cooking foo for our meals. Sometimes we went at the coastal areas to find any dry firewoods just like dry small branches, coconut palms and even dried coconut husks. I put it in the sack so I can carried lots of it and if I finally arrived at home I carefully placed it at the side of our house away from the place that can easily get wet by rains. Those tall dry firewoods are properly cut into shorter one so it wont hassle by using it. I courage myself to looked for any firewoods even if it is far from our house and stored lots of it while rainy season has not yet started.
Sometimes we only ate bread for breakfast combined with a hot of coffee. This can be solved for breakfast and gladly, our neighbor gave this bihon dish last day and we also partnered it from the bread we brought last day. The rice I cooked will be served for our lunch and it can save rice grains. I was very thankful for our neighbor for their kindness and generosity always to us and they really truly giver. After that it is time to washed the plates we used during breakfast so the kitchen will be neat and well organized.
Moment later when my Mother also arrived bringing lots of firewoods, I started to cut those longer ones into right length so it can easily used it everytime when I cook and prepared food. I carefully cut those long dry firewoods and placed at the big sack again since we don't have enough space to piled those short dry firewoods.
After that, I also checking my flowering and ornamental plants and I am very happy to see that all of it grows very healthy and stabled. There are also no harmful insects living on it and some of the bougainvillea flowers bloomed. Having lots of flowers at the house can make the place looks more attractive and even if the house is very simple as long as there are lots of flowers and plants at the place, the house will really look like a Palace and the place will looks like a Paradise. That is what my Grandma told me about flowering plants.
While I was at my Busy situations doing the chores, there was someone went to our house and it was a delivery rider who brought my order from online. I was very happy to recieved a small parcel and thankful to the rider for delivering the items here. I ordered hair clip online and it takes a week before finally recieved the item. I was very excited to show to my Mother. This parcel cost 40 Pesos only and I paid it using my vouchers.
Another daily chores has been done again, until next post. Have a nice day to everyone.
