Half - Frozen Cascade Ponds

DSC00428.jpeg

A few more captures from a half frozen Cascade Ponds, Banff Park, Alberta. In Canada it is never too cold to have an outdoor barbecue like these fellas in the last photo! Not exactly my cup of tea, but good on them for making the most of a cold situation! Of course during warmer months, this area is filled with families and picnickers. Speaking of warmer months, I have two more trips in the works for September. Really looking forward to finishing the Summer with some epic pics to show off for y'all. Thanks for stopping by.

Got to love BBQ regardless of what season it is.

As always, the photos you share are stunning to look at. The presence of the young people hosting a barbecue brought a lively energy to the place, showing that a frozen landscape doesn't necessarily have to be desolate. I also look forward to seeing more beautiful images from the trips you have planned.

Outdoor events when it's cold can be limiting, but I guess those fellows can get warm from the warmth that's coming from the barbecue, even though it looks visibly cold from the pictures. Great pictures wow, the first picture you lead with is astonishing. I didn't know wooden bridges were at thing.

It’s a truly spectacular place, and those lads having a barbecue will warm themselves up simply by enjoying a lovely get together in the countryside; I think that’s why they don’t mind the cold. I can picture this paradise in summer, it must be lovely, but right now it also creates a very special landscape; with those pine trees, but above all the bridge and the surrounding area are simply marvellous.

Those two trips you’ve got planned will be brilliant for taking photos, and I also love how the black and white photos have turned out, great style. Thanks for your high quality work, big hug.🤗
