the Sound of Nature

DSC00735.jpeg

The first major attraction on the way to Bertha Lake was the lower falls. Not nearly as tall as the upper falls, but definitely more visible to see and photograph. I stayed there awhile to soak in the sounds of nature’s water fall, it was amazing — such a beautiful sound! Moving onward and upward toward the upper falls, about an hour later, the falls were visible but not really accessible. I was hoping for a better view, but this last photo was all I got. I did not see a separate trail to access the falls, so I just continued on to Bertha Lake. Thanks for stopping by.

  • The waterfall views look so refreshing! I haven't got the chance to visit one yet, but my friends and I are planning a trip outside the city soon.

Still very beautiful from the angles that you actually took the pictures from. As someone who is quite scared of heights, I'm imagining what it feels like to stand at the edge of the waterfall, nature is truly astonishing.

  • Love what you captured

The lower falls beating the taller ones for photos is so true, the view you can actually reach wins. Any side path to the upper ones at all?

  • @delowar41(59)· 3d

The moment spent pausing to listen to the sound of the waterfall must have been very soothing.

  • @bluearty(57)· 3d

I'm sure you'll agree with me that the sound of a waterfall is truly one of the most healing sounds in nature. It's a pity you couldn't get closer to the upper falls, but the journey and the scenery along the way sound absolutely beautiful. Thanks for taking us along! By the way, when it comes to color or black and white photography, I like color photography more than nature, but in some cases, black and white photography is really more valuable than color.
