Lily's hug on a rainy day!!

Hi, friends of the Hive Pets community. Tbh it's been a while since the last time i posted here.

Today I want to tell you about something that happened to me recently and that still makes me smile when I remember it. It turns out I was on my way to work and I was only thinking about everything I had pending (it’s the end of the month and work is intense). But suddenly it started raining really hard and I had to take shelter at my parents’ house; the weather has been weird these days.

I sat down in the living room, a little worried about being late, and all I did was get more and more anxious. A few minutes later, while I was checking my phone, my sister’s cat came over to where I was; she’s calm, one of those cats that doesn’t come close much, so I wasn’t expecting much. But she climbed on top of me, settled in with all the calm in the world and, curiously, took a position as if she were hugging me. Well, in her own way: she pressed her little head against me, wrapped her little paws around me as if saying “don’t go, stay a little longer."

And I swear that in that moment my hurry went away. The rain kept falling, the clock kept ticking, but I was there, still, with that little ball of fur on top of me, reminding me that not everything has to be rushing. Sometimes a downpour, an unexpected shelter and an affectionate cat give you the pause you didn’t know you needed. In the end I got to work late, yes, but with my heart a little calmer thanks to the UNEXPECTED hug from a little cat.
