Blue grapes in my garden 🪴—the last clusters of the fall. It’s already fall, and all the fruits are coming to the end of their season. These are the last grapes still hanging on the vines. They’re delicious and sweet. I like blue grapes. We’ve already eaten the first ones—those were white grapes. I don’t remember all the varieties, but they’re all delicious in their own way, and the bees liked them too) Caring for grapes is complicated—at least for me. You have to fertilize them with special fertilizers, spray them, and water them at the base. You also have to prune them correctly. It’s still too early to prune the grapes; you have to wait until the leaves fall and the grapes stop producing sap. The shoots—also called “arms”—need to be pruned correctly. We don’t cover the vines with soil or wrap them in agrotextile. They survive the winter just fine as is. Grapes are good for your health, but not in large quantities. For example, people with diabetes shouldn’t eat grapes. Those with normal blood sugar levels can eat one bunch a day. Grapes are used to make wine. They’re also used to make juice.

Waiting until the sap stops before pruning the arms is the kind of patient detail that shows how well you know these vines, even if you have forgotten half the varieties.
