While motorhoming in Morges, Switzerland, we went for a walk down to the harbour. It was a really sunny day, and the water was so still that the boat and sailboat masts were reflected perfectly in the lake. It almost looked as though there were about twice as many boats!
This is my entry to the Reflection Hunter's Contest - SMARP - Round 293.
There was also an aquatic weed harvester, used around the harbour and shoreline that clears out excess seaweeds and algae so the marina stays clean for the boats. You can see its cabin, paddle wheel, and the ERM logo flipped upside down in the lake below.
We also took a short walk to Parc de L'Indépendance, just away from the main lake. There were big green trees along both sides of the concrete bank, with branches hanging out over the water. Once again, the water was lovely and still, reflecting the green leaves and blue sky.
Morges is a quiet town on the edge of Lake Geneva. Visiting on a clear sunny day was really good to see reflections.
Thank you to @olgavita and the team for running the contest.
