Paso a paso.

Hello, friends of this wonderful Womentribe community! I hope you’re all doing great. A new week begins with these inspiring words from our friend @syllem, who shares her thoughts for us to reflect on. I like to come here and share my reflections with you on Mondays because I use the weekend to get introspective and let whatever needs to come out, come out.
To be fair, I’m the kind of person who likes to plan. It makes me feel really good to have a routine and stick to a schedule, although, of course, that doesn’t stop changes from popping up all the time. That’s why I’ve come to the conclusion that I also need a flexible routine so I don’t drive myself crazy trying to stick to it and so it’s easier to adapt. Sometimes I plan so much that nothing ends up happening, and that’s frustrating for me. I think I’m trying to be more compassionate now—to ride the wave and let it take me wherever it wants. I mean, there was a time when I hit a crisis, but then I just let myself go with the flow because there’s nothing I can do, and resisting is worse, hahaha. So I’m learning to be a little more spontaneous so these changes don’t overwhelm me as much.
On the other hand, my reflection for the week—which, by the way, continued to be an emotional roller coaster for me—is that nothing guarantees us a tomorrow and that things can change from one moment to the next. So it’s good to have order and discipline, but you also have to know how to be flexible and adapt to situations. I really hate it when plans change, but I’m also confident that I can adapt well, and I think that rebelling is part of that inner rebellious streak I usually have but don’t often show.
I couldn’t function unless I planned my life out; I’m the kind of person who has a Plan A, a Plan B, and a Plan C—and maybe even a Plan D, just in case—which makes me feel more at ease. But at the same time, I’m aware that these plans might not work out or might not be necessary, so in that sense, I’m prepared for whatever life has in store for me. Besides, I feel like most of the most exciting moments in my life weren’t planned at all, and that makes me happy in a way. You could say that change terrifies me, but whenever something happens that I hadn’t planned for, it feels like embarking on an adventure, and that gives me a new sense of momentum.
Sure, some of these adventures might not turn out well, but I know they happen for a reason. Maybe they were a lesson I needed to learn, or maybe I had to go through that moment to grow. It can be painful when things don’t go as we planned, but I’m certain there’s a reason for it, and that there’s a higher power ready to guide us toward where we truly need to go—and that’s reason enough to keep trusting and moving forward. One step at a time.

Well, friends, that wraps up my thoughts on this topic. I hope you enjoyed it, and I encourage all of you who are reading this to participate. Thank you for sticking with me this far and supporting my content. See you next time!
