Hello, dear Womentribe friends! I hope you’re all doing great. I’m glad to hear we have some new inspiring words from @syllem to share and reflect on together. This time, it’s about letting ourselves be guided by whatever we want to express today.
I woke up and felt like I’d gone through every emotional state imaginable by mid-morning, and that left me exhausted. Seriously, my emotions have been all over the place these past few days—between my period and eclipse season, that’s to be expected. I really believe in that kind of thing, and I keep myself informed, which is why I’m bringing it up. But anyway, beyond that, I always try to make the most of the day, even though it gets complicated sometimes. Today I woke up crying a little, and then I felt apathetic during breakfast. I tried listening to my audiobook, but not even that lifted my spirits. By mid-morning I was angry and made it known—I don’t like taking it out on people who have nothing to do with it. Around noon, I made a short video and decided to change my mood, so I made an effort to get back to my usual self—at least the anger passed—but the emotional rollercoaster I went through in such a short time left me exhausted. As a result, I had a day with no energy, though it was a marked improvement compared to how I started it. Still, I had that feeling that nothing was going right for me.
And yes, I’m aware that we can’t always feel good and that it’s also healthy to let our emotions out so we don’t get overwhelmed. But experiencing it and feeling it firsthand is different—that tightness in your chest and that downward spiral you get caught up in, which seems to never end, and you just keep going round and round. The good news is that nothing bad lasts forever, and now I’m writing this with the conviction that the storm has passed and that tomorrow will be a new day full of good things—because, yes, it all depends on how you look at the glass. So I think it’s okay to have had a not-so-good day, compared to the good ones, since those are also part of life—that’s why I wanted to take this opportunity to share it with you.
What I took away from this day is allowing myself to make room for sadness so it can come out, and then trying to reason with myself and get back on track—not completely, but with a more positive outlook. That’s also what managing your emotions is all about. I also want to remind myself—and all of you—that we need to allow ourselves to have bad days, that it’s okay to feel tired and unmotivated to give our best or to meet the demands we often place on ourselves. It’s okay to take a breather so we can start over with more energy next time. And that’s my little reflection for today.

Well, friends, that's all I wanted to share with you. Putting it into words really helped me, and I hope it helps you in some way, too. Thanks for sticking with me this far and supporting my content. See you next time!
